Weird how there are so many new posters appearing out of the blue laying the boot into the manager. Strange how most have only registered this month, where have they been since 2014?

I will continue to back DC. The players need to show more, don't think Sir Alex could get this lots to pull their fingers out right now. They need to wake up and play with some pride.
DC in!

Said it before and I’ll say it again. You have to look at the board to take as much as the blame as well.
There has been no reinvestment in a squad that has lost a massive part of the spine of the team, massive part of the personality of the team and a huge part of the BRFC work ethic and playing style DC has instilled the past 4 years.
in the last 12 months we have lost Bodin, Harrison, Lee Brown and Gaffney. Big players for us that even if they weren’t in the team they moulded and shaped the attitude of it.
The board has taken the money and ran for these players quite frankly and not reinvested it in any areas near good enough. They have asked DC to build another side on a conference budget. Evidenced by the fact we had to send Mensah and Slocombe away so we could get some cover in in other areas. DC said as much it’s going to be 1 in 1 out. And because it’s like that we are shopping in the bargain basement getting players that aren’t quite good enough.
The ALQs absolute beligerence on not supporting our club financially the way other owners do is what is costing us.
There were quality players available for permanent signings or loans which other teams have signed with smaller budgets/gates/grounds than ours.
DC has his faults I will admit. I’m not saying he’s perfect. I detest the way he plays players out of position. Won’t drop certain players if they aren’t performing or never plays a settled side, but when you look at the bigger picture with the way the club is being run it’s as if DC is trying to manage with both his hands tied behind his back.

Problem is, I think DC wants out, but wants to get sacked for the pay day rather than walk himself. We'll get players in odd positions and bad mouthing the owners until they sack him, we could be relegated by then, as they obviously don't want to pay him off either. Of course he does he's been playing this card for ages now but any sensible contract will have a built in clause that if you are not performing to target you will be sacked without compensation cuss he ain't performed to target for 2 seasons now and we should not have to pay for a crap manager Are these targets you talk of your targets ? Personally I can't class 2 solid mid table finishes as a failure in any way. I think your letting your anti DC bias cloud your judgement. If you'd taken a poll prior to both of the last two seasons I'm pretty confident the vast majority would have settled for what we achieved. You obviously think we should have sailed straight through this league just as we did in league 2.

Umm... Have you not just blown your own argument out of the water here? If other clubs with smaller budgets are signing quality players, then it is nothing to do with the board setting the budget......?

I trust DC to get us out of this mess. Let's stick by the gaffer! I'm surprised at the number of likes for this post. The love affair with DC should come to an end - he's had his day it's time to move on and give someone else a chance. Not having this team ready for the start of the season was the last straw for me and the beginning of the end for his reign at OUR club as far as I'm concerned. You reap what you sow - DC you have let yourself down and more importantly you've let the supporters and club down - it's time to go.

Alright we can all agree Nichols has proved a costly mistake, but I wouldn't trust anyone else working with what he has at his disposal. Can you imagine a new guy taking over with this squad? The thought horrifies me. Any names you think would want to take the managers job here right now?

Taken from Twitter!
Gasheads Love DC when we get back to back promotions, love him when we get 2 creditable Mid Table finishes in League One and pray for him show loyalty . However after having had to sell our 3 best players we get off to a poor start and some want him out #LoyaltyGoesBothWays #Utg
Maybe those that haven’t been on since 2014 should log back off and delete their account! Absolute belters!

DC confirmed post match yesterday he recruited all the players so he really has to take the blame. Having said that only an attention seeker would suggest sacking DC this week ahead of the Coventry game. Lose that one and with Bradford up next then he may have to go to try and rescue our season as it would seem he has lost the changing room, or at least certain players.

Strange how most have only registered this month, where have they been since 2014? maybe AI bots trying to influence common thought! 😈 Or Russian military intelligence? or maybe those who didn't feel the need to comment when things were going well, but now feel the need to have a say? As for my view, I think DC is a good manager, but not had the funds or support from the owners and is now rightly watered off with the situation. Problem is, I don't see what the way out of this is at the moment, unless there is new money coming in from somewhere soon.

I think bringing in Rodman, Upson and Payne who are average players at best, probably on better wages than most at the club, has wrecked the team spirit. It's DCs first big mistake. What happens if DC goes. I can't see anyone else getting much more out of the squad until the injured are fit, and most of those you would expect to put in a shift for DC anyway.

If upson was so good, why did he get relegated with MK dons last season? This was the strangest signing a loser who's position we already had covered.

Neither would I but this load of crap was assembled by him in the first place and he has to be held accountable for that. This is all a situation of DC's making because he wouldn't know a good player from the hole in his arse and then compounds it with stupid s**t like playing our goalscoring midfielder out wide. It feels like he has just lost the plot and is just completely erratic in both selections and signings.

"attention seeker" - no just someone with an opinion - a bit rich coming from someone who has probably posted more than anyone else on this forum - "attention seeker" - look at yourself sunshine.

IMO D.C. has ended up with a terrible squad because Waq & Hani have refused to back him. Watching Payne yesterday l could clearly see how he was hiding not actively looking for the ball, unable to complete for the ball against the hatters centre half and clearly not picking up or marking when rovers were defending corners. Upon the 6th defender stood on the undropables toes and played the majority of passes either backwards or side waysides, with Ollie Clarke also unable to create in midfield, and it goes on throughout the team (only exception being Bonham MOM) it is not surprising D.C. is so frustrated and feeling let down. We now need to support the fella not show him the door.
