You ain’t Wael are you? And we could always drop back down to the conference you must be the only supporter who wants relegation I loved the conference season. Sure was a lot more fun than this season! Sunderland away or Sutton away, any fan just wants to see their team win more than lose. I enjoyed it too. However, the moaning was as feverish as ever. Draws were the old loses and wins were never by enough. "We should be putting theses teams to the sword"/ "If we had Martin Allen we would be ..." etc etc

Our biggest hope is that the BBC or some film maker wants to make a film about Stanley Mathews or someone from the past. We could rent them the ground as a set. Or the next Mad Max. TG should be right on top of this for naming rights- 'The Thunderdome' sounds a much more exhilarating place to spend a Saturday afternoon than 'The Memorial Stadium'

From the Bristol Post
Can you go to the owners and have a conversation with them and say ‘I need this’? People want to see some action in January – on Saturday you said there probably won’t be that much, but can you go and ask the Chairman, as they did in the old days?
DC: Listen, I know where we stand as a club and I don’t think it’s the right time for me to say things, it can certainly sometimes get me into a bit of trouble. What I will say is my drive and passion is to move this football club forward, we’ll keep trying to move this football club forward and I just hope everyone shares that same passion as I do. It’s a question you’ll have to ask other people.

I guess I'm perpetuating the very thing DC is saying there, but it's hard not to interpret that as speaking his mind to the press has lead to words from his superiors- most likely Hamer as, based on his dealings with the media, I can't see Wael asserting himself to DC. I guess that is a normal occurrence in most businesses if laundry is aired in public however I do have sympathy for DC trying to make the fans aware of what the owners refuse to tell us directly, ie that there is no money for players. I do believe it's possible for them to be potless and still have goodwill with the fans by trying to build bridges through open communication. However what we see is the president mugging off to the press and being carried down Gloucester Road when the going is good and then going into hiding and saying nowt when it all falls apart. This lot are turning into our version of Venky's group.

I just can’t for the life of me understand why the lady gardens behind the scenes won’t speak up and tell us what the f**k is going on!

All I can see is the owners/board rubbing their hands together and grinning because everyone is focusing on DC as the convenient scapegoat of a bigger problem.
