Wouldn’t change a thing if he went. Starts from the top, ‘landing lights are on’....’new state of the art training ground’. All been a load of rubbish, was never happening. DC turned down a championship side because he believed it was, as well as us, and signed a new deal. Think the morale at the whole club is so bad because we all now know nothing is happening and it never was. As well as players who now know f all is happening to take the club forward The most depressing thing is that the owners seemingly aren’t bothered about growing the club. ‘A lick of paint here and a hand dryer there will keep ‘em quiet.’ At least under Higgs we knew his intentions were in the right place. He would have done anything to deliver us a new stadium and training ground. We had hope for a brighter future. The level of uncertainty over our future with this lot is worrying. They could pull the plug and shaft us. Nobody really knows who they are and what they want. Not once have they shown their hand. The fact that we are going to have to rely on some cheap loans in January to save our league one status paints a picture. This isn’t the dream we were sold. I've been saying that for a good while now. It's been really unfair some of the stick that Higgs got when his intentions were far purer than Dwane Sports will ever be. I bet Higgs is as gutted as most that his efforts to deliver a stadium were swept aside so easily by the Chuckle Brothers, and not just because of the financials. It seemed like Higgs cared about leaving the club a legacy. What sort of legacy do you think Dwane Sports cares about leaving?

The fact that people honestly think DC is the problem atm is honestly laughable He has a mid table budget and we're in the relegation zone, no one else to blame for our failure on the pitch. He has more coaches to help than many a manager at this level, he has his lovely playing surface this season, last seasons pitch was why we played hoof ball so much according to DC. Yet we're even worse, all he needs to do is keep us out of the drop zone and he is failing badly so far.

It does beg the question why, what seems, wealthy owners of an investment bank ever got involved in owning a Div 2 football club, surely making £5m/10M at best can't have warranted all time they've put in. What do they now see as their end game, sell the club at a big profit, is that really likely, eventually turn us into a Championside, that seems even less likely as matters stand, or make us homeless by selling the ground, if so, why bother employing a CEO and HoR this summer

Maybe one too many games on Football Manager? I mean, how hard can it be to run a little football club in England?

I say keep DC and get rid of the owners. What good are they when they are not prepared to put any more money into the squad but cut it back. The difference between us and Doncaster today is that we sold all our best players/ goalscorers they offered their best players / goalscorers better contracts and kept them. They could have got rid of Marquis in the summer but didn't .

Hahaha talk about rewriting history Higgs was a blagger who promised to give UWE everything they wanted in order for it to appear we would have a new ground, with the sole aim of palming us off onto some other suckers, to the extent where he gambled the club's future by taking a high interest bridging loan in order to finance a futile legal battle against Sainsbury's. Fair play he got lucky and sold us to idiots not sensible enough to do proper due diligence, his gamble paid dividends and he walked away with his money intact.

Not a bad idea, we could build it next to that ridiculous 'temporary' ( ) family stand that will end up being Dwane Sports legacy of their time at the Gas.

Keep DC and get the players who are not playing for him out. Let's not make the same mistake we made when Penny came in. Penney was crap, and you know he was

This lot might turn out to be worse but that doesn’t make Higgs a good chairman. He took us into the conference and nearly bankrupted us the bloke was clueless.

Says the poster who's being calling DC clueless even though his two promotions. As they say a fish rots from it's head not really sure changing the manager is going to change the bigger issues clearly at the club. It's clearly not,but we need improvement on the pitch and surely someone else can do no worse. Are you talking about the best pitch we ever had according to DC?

I’ve never heard this before. Has this actually happened? So I'm led to believe but you never know these days I guess. All sorts of stories seem to get bandied about in order to either big up one "side" or knock down another. DC signs the players . He wouldn't be here if they did. Come on this is like project fear

Then again he came up with two reasonable stadium plans, the present clowns really do seem clueless.

Higgs always found money for transfers too when we were in the crap. I doubt we will see much appetite from the current mob to fund a squad transfusion in January.

From what we know now, if the Al Qadi's or Hamer told you the UWE was a bad deal for the club would you believe them? It's fact. If any previous stadium plan was financially viable it surely would've happened by now. The funding wasn't there for the UWE as it would've been the equivalent of trying to get a mortgage on a leasehold. Unfortunately we missed the boat on moving/redeveloping the Mem 10 years ago, best we can realistically hope for now is someone else comes in and spends a fair amount turning the Mem into something acceptable imo.

He’s quick enough to separate the footballing side when off field issues are a problem - the footballing side of things is now the biggest issue as the football is awful, players not playing for the manager, tactics awful, selection awful, recruitment awful and based on performances training and fitness are also awful! Can’t blame anyone else for this dc. I just hope the board have enough balls to sack him and enough money to pay him off as this internal arguing is killing our club! We need a period of calm!
