A new Manager kept you coming back? yes renewed optimism! DC being sacked would have the opposite effect on me. I'm already disillusioned with off field inactivity and DC going would probably mean I stop going.

The thing is wael has caused this since the stadium going tits up.. Just been a sour shocking feeling of f**k the lot of you and I don’t owe you an explanation attitude.. Hamer being cattle prodded out to ramble sh** and to replace brookman with himself really takes the biscuit as I struggle to hear him on the radio moaning about this and that and acting as if everything is honky dory Hamer does the away games because Keith isn't available - I would imagine it's up to Radio Bristol as to who the co-commentator is anyway.

Ignore him. He's actually in the Midlands and doesn't go to any games at all. Blokes an idiot. The only idiots on here are those that think that DC is the man for the job And anybody who thinks the club will get their purse out to sack him.

Somebody would have to pay KB to do away games as he's no longer a club employee, I assume SH does it for free/part of his job. Although who's doing the commentary is the least of our concerns it's what they are doing their commentary on which is the concern. If we lost 0-4 to mid table Doncaster it's worrying how many Sunderland might put past us!

"Not in any way an attack" yet the thread is called "Get DC out now." We lost our goalie to injury and Smith had to face their second goal which nobody bothered to close down. If Sercombe was a bit luckier, Payne had scored with that header, or Bennett was able to pass the ball, this thread wouldn't exist. if your granny had bollocks she'd be your grandad!!

Just echoing the opinion, I doubt we could get a better manager at our level then DC.
Why would we get rid of the one person who has clout that stands up to the owners? If DC left then whoever came in would be the owners pawn and wouldn't challenge them over anything.
I would rather get relegated then not have transparency in the club.

Of course but football is about ups and downs and I've seen more poor performances than great ones in my 30 years of being a gashead. DC is the best thing to happen to the club in years and despite this poor season (and even if we get related) I still want him in charge and not made a scapegoat for the general malaise that is engulfing the club since UWE fell through.

Totally agree with this. I’m not sure I would renew the three season tickets I bought again next season if we go back to employing the clowns like Magoo again. When we got relegated to non league I thought DC was the cheap option, but when I heard him on Radio Bristol and met him at the open day I could see he would do all in his power to get the club back from the brink. What he achieved was miraculous, but I always said he will go the same way as other Rovers managers where all the best players are constantly sold and eventually we will be relegated again. If Wael or any of the others at the club showed a tenth of the passion I might trust them, but I’m sorry there appear to be lots of chiefs at the club but no leaders.

DC recently referred to PT's demise but I sense Holloway's was more similar, GD sold his best two striker and eventually he was sacked and we were relegated, with Ollie going on to eventually show that he was a decent manager elsewhere, I fear that will also happen with DC.

It all seems like deja vu. The owners have done the maths imo. League 2 success will be more profitable than poor or mediocre league 1. They will stick with DC rather than pay him off, and plan for relegation. Lower wage bill, comparable or better gates if pushing for top 6 place. Seems obvious to me. But this is Bristol Rovers!!!! Even back when Geoff Dunford was in charge we needed gates of 8,000 to break even, add on the ever spiralling players wages and I'd say we currently would need about 11,000 every game.
