My reception (even on DAB) was very crackly but sounded like a case of Meetings to come with board next couple of days. Has to happen Very critical of the uncertainty. Referred to the rumours stewing Saying a lot of home truths, stuff he hinted at the other day for having his wrists slapped for
Sounded very, very honest

Time for those that have a shred of knowledge regarding the takeover to come out and reveal what they know.
Save DC and our season!
The problems stem from the top!

The board need to seriously back the manager in January. If they don't, kiss goodbye to League One, it's as simple as that.
I'm surprised these discussions haven't already taken place. DC should already know what he has to spend in January and negotiating with agents and putting preparations in place. This sort of water poor planning is what has got us into this mess in the first place.
The leadership from the top is abysmal. Utterly pathetic. A CEO who who is totally anonymous and an owner who disappears when the going gets tough. The owners and board need to step up to the plate now, as well as the players.

Sounds like he’s realised (or now willing to publicly admit) he can’t change things on his own. Players aren’t helping him, board / owner not helping him, where does he go?

He mentioned that they had sold 1.5 mil of strikers, and spent .5 on replacing them, which I took as a jibe at hamers interview . and that the club had missed the opp to move forward.

It was very sad to see his frustration tonight. He was beside himself in the dug out with our manner of play and some of the mistakes being made

For God's sake Wael, back him before we lose the best manager we've had since Gerry Francis. Managers of this quality do not come to club's like ours very often and the complete lack of direction from the top threatens to push him away.

Got the impression if there is no money in January then DC realises it's a lost cause...and I think he will walk. As he said we missed the boat and we need owners with passion who want to take the club forward.

Absolutely if you don't know what you can spend then how can you scout players...trouble is even with money good players will be reluctant to join a bottom 4 club.

A very powerful interview, full of emotion. He is clearly extremely frustrated with the way the club is being run but doesn’t exonerate himself from blame either. He said that his recruitment this summer hasn’t been good enough and the players haven’t delivered what he thought they would.
He said that there was a brilliant opportunity for the club to push on but it has been wasted and the club needs someone who has the ambition to take it forward not be satisfied with hopping between league 1 and 2. He said he was emotional and would need to consider what he does, he hears the rumours of what is going on, he’s not an idiot, and wants to know if the club is going to be able to go forward again in January or not. He said he will seek discussions with the board over the next few days and consider what he does from there.

Darrell realises the players in his squad are not good enough, we lost 4 of our best players with nothing in to replace, certain relegation if nothing happens, lets see what happens
