What with our league form, position and various problems throughout the club should we rethink our checkatrade position re boycotting. Maybe it’s time to forget the bigger picture and really try to get behind the boys in this competition! It would be a lovely gesture to turn up en mass to try and urge the boys towards further success for our wounded leader D.C (if he’s still here) At least this would be a positive in amongst so many negatives at present and the momentum could rub off to the league form! Just an idea!

Does anybody seriously believe we will bet Swansea and get the chance to play another home cup game this season?

Definite no from me. This competition has been completely devalued - if it is seen to have even a modicum of success/credance the Premier League would move straight onto the next stage of introducng their youth teams into Leagues 1 and 2.
I can't believe some people still dont get this.

Still a no from me! Do people really think that we will travel 80 miles in midweek to watch us play an U23 team?
No idea what the benefits are!
If it was a League Cup match against the first team we'd take a load!
Re-name it - "The Pointless Pot"!

No from me even if we get to the final.
Wouldn’t ever endorse something which will ultimately see B teams introduced into our lower leagues

Very short trip for me. Irrespective of the merits of the competition I will be there and pay my £1! Hoping I won't be too lonely in the away end. With a clear run it's only an hour from the bridge to the Liberty, although for those going don't forget to add an extra half hour or so for the delays at the tolls and the approach to the Brynglas tunnels.

Short trip for 3 of us living in South wales that's 4 of us marshy! Closer than a home game for me travelling from the Rhondda and trying to educate badengas junior in the joys of away days. Can't see my attendance making any difference to the future except maybe helping the boys win. Come on everybody let's outnumber the Jacks !

I hope I (or preferably Shaun Harvey) die before that happens.

Strikes me that all domestic cup competitions are now completely devalued, just look at the attendances now compared to only 10 years ago.... Round 3 of the fa cup will allow the top clubs to give their 2 string / youth a run out to justify their huge squad sizes, whilst the League cup is a mid season friendly for premiership clubs until they get to the semi-finals....
Personally I'd like to see the EFL take control of all domestic competition even if it meant league clubs only, because it's really been destroyed by the big money....
