Give the mackems as many tickets as we can... Theyve a decent size following but are serial bottlers! Our home this season is naff! But its cup match so he who dares wins! 100% agree !. They will sell 2000 no problem for terrace and South stand. We could put up a temp fence and sell out south/west stand too ( away families only ). This would bring it to around 2300...

Should I invite them round for dinner and let them shag my wife afterwards, as well?

As much as it pains me to say this as I would love another day out at Wembley, me and my mates will be continuing to boycott these games. Otherwise, what is the point of boycotting in the first place. In the longer term it just means more of the same year in, year out.
I don’t want to see another Premier League under 23s team playing against our first team. As others have said it only benefits the elite in this country and widens an already unbearable gap between the haves and the have nots.
I’m not going against my principles just because there is a chance of making the final. The competition is pointless anyway. It’s sad that some people are too narrow minded to see that the only that this competition is delivering is the ultimate demise of lower league football altogether.
Oh, Wembley....yeah let’s just forget about the boycott this time. I don’t Dam think so!

I think we should give them the whole of the East Stand and the East Terrace - a sea of red and white along one side of the pitch will look the business on Sky. Our own regulars and season ticket holders in those areas can easily buy a ticket for another part of the ground.

Surely the ticket money gets split for a cup game? I think he means up to £250k after Sunderland game and up to £500k if we make Wembley. Another words £750k in total which is realistic as Lincoln made £500k with only a 40000 gate. A GAS V POMPEY final would attract about 60000 plus... if we get a good gate against Sunderland prize money and gate receipts could net us £250,000. We would get prize money and eventual share of the gate if we went to Wembley, as pointed out before Lincoln made over half million , so it is worth attending these matches as it brings more money into the club, we might as well make the most out of this even if we protest at the games.

The Premier League and FA must be quaking in their boots over this boycott now its really gathering pace. Hopefully the boycotters will get themselves organised this time and someone might at least think they care enough to get out from behind their keyboards and a warm telly to demonstrate. You know a good old fashioned protest, giving out a few leaflets or maybe a picket line. Just something more than bleating online... please.

Let’s just say that Rovers beat Sunderland and Pompey go through to make it a Rovers v Pompey final....Yeah, sounds good. But what about in the future if it’s Rovers v West Ham Under 23’s. Would that be an enjoyable day out at Wembley? Imagine then if Rovers win it? Would we honestly think YES we have beaten West Ham? NO! It will feel like a completely hollow experience. Well, if people bother turning up this time then that is what will happen in the future to someone, maybe Rovers.
Oh, but what about the kids? They’ll love a day out at Wembley. Let’s do it for them eh? Nah, that’s an excuse using the kids. They won’t have a Rovers to support in years to come if you contemplate accepting this sh**!
Honestly I cannot believe people bottling what they have stood up for for 2 years now just because Rovers have a chance of getting to the final. It’s so weak. I feel that strongly about it. It’s like contributing to our own death.

I may not agree with the ethics of this competition but we are not mummy's boys living off golden eggs are we . Sadly football have changed and Lincoln City is an example who benefited from a windfall last season . Who else is going to give us £750k ?. The fact is the current squad and investment looks probable we will be relegated . So unless anyone else can identify a source ( not sercs income please ) i will take the crumbs .

There is no real evidence for the prem b/u21/u23/over 40s teams entering the efl. And boycotting a competition whos attendences were low anyway seems pointless...

You are the narrow minded one for not understanding the other view points on this. I get your view but I will still be going, we need any sort of success or crumbs of money we can get at the minute. All this worry about what might happen in the future, yes it might happen and I understand people's worry about that. But we don't know what we will happen. I just care about what gives us the best chance of survival this year and hopefully drawing in more kids to the Rovers. Like I say, I get your view point, I get both view points but please don't be so rude and patronising to call people narrow minded for their view.

I respect your opinion, but the 2016/17 final attendance between Coventry & Oxford was a record 74434 , do you honestly believe a few thousand Rovers or Pompey fans boycotting the game will have any bearing what happens in the future. I think a bigger protest would be for at a given time , everybody attending stand up for a couple of minutes & turn their backs on the EFL dignetry.
