Based on last nights performance, would you play The Beard in Ollie Clarke's Position along side Ogogo ?
A Big Yes for me at the moment
Ollie defo don't look fit at the moment

Yes, Sincs showed great energy last night and got stuck in. He is well short of match fitness though and it showed.
The only thing that Ollie has that Sincs does is the ability to shoot and know when. I can't help but think that if OC had that ball played into him by JCH last night he would have struck it first time rather than look to relay it off again.
I think Sincs did enough last night to earn a recall for saturday.
I also think we looked a lot better with young Kelly at RB and pushing THD forward into the LW role. The narrow formation worked well first half, but we had been worked out by the time they scored and we looked one dimensional until 75th minute. THD got some useful crosses in and forced a good save from their keeps.

If we’re going to stick with the diamond system we’re currently playing, then we effectively can choose any four from:
Lines Clarke Sercombe Sinclair Upson Ogogo
Sincs and OC can play in the same side along with Sercombe and one other, IMO.

Boring. I read the title and thought a fight was being lined up.
Personally, I think OC would hit harder but the Beard would be fearless and buzz around the ring like a wasp. Hard one to call.

It worked very well on Saturday so we should stick with it for now. Having a couple of holding midfielders allows the full backs to get forward more often and provide some width. Upson and Ogogo would keep their places as holding midfielders which allows two more from the above list. The only issue being what happens when Rodman comes back as he had been one of our better midfielders recently.

Neither good enough for League 1. We need better.

Maybe he'll be a good super-sub option when we're chasing a result or looking to stretch the game. I just fear that GC will revert to the 4-4-2 with Rodman is back and shunt Sercs out wide again.

I love the intensity and energy Sincs brings, but OC is a vastly superior football in almost every department.

Not sure as too similar players. But hey, what a man, what a beard! He was excellent last night & on that display plenty good enough for this league.

Sinclair is 32. Passes mainly sideways or back. Goes to ground when he tackles. Is a nice man
Ollie Clarke going through a dodgy spell but is still young enough to improve. I don't know if he is nice though

Absolutely the beard is the heart and soul of the club he would be the first name on the teamsheet when first t The beard is a player that I would keep at our club until his legs go,or his heart (which never would) even if we got to the premiership! Just as a squad player for his personality, even if he played only one game a season. Some players get what a club is about, and while is ability is only a 2 or 3 out 10 his heart is 100/10.You cant buy that, nor teach that and he needs to be around our club until he drops!

OC is currently our top scorer with 5 goals, for that reason alone I would prefer to keep him in the starting 11!
