Man who hasn't set the worl alight at other clubs was moved on, is hardly a story.
A bit sensationalist of a comment to me in the article

“He just took off at Bristol Rovers. In fairness to them, they played him through the centre whilst Mark Robins saw him more as a wide man. It’s not hard to see why; he’s quick and good on the ball, but it meant a lack of goals." He played through the centre at Coventry, not wide.

Our worry will now be that when he goes, who is going to score goals on a regular basis ? With GC saying last night that he has been unable to pursuade any pacy wingers to sign for BRFC, it is not looking great. I guess we will have a better picture when we see how the team plays against Brum.

With the club losing £3m + per year, he will be sold, just the amount that matters now

I think you make some good points there. I think his playing style depends upon being given the ball and not having to track back. I am hoping we see a more attack minded approach as the home games of last season were very difficult to watch.
The away games were a lot more defensive than at home ,
At least 8 players behind the ball at all times and rarely tried to cross the half way line.
And with the same midfield as last season I can see next season being exactly the same.
Just got my Blackpool tickets.
Then I feel sorry for those who paid to watch. The person I go with has never left a game early but did so, twice, in the last few home games. It was awful to see

Don’t ruin his agent’s cunning plan to broadcast why he never scored goals at Coventry yet he has here thus smoothing over any doubts Champ clubs might have about his form at Rovers being a purple patch! I agree with Gassy, all these articles sound like he’s agitating for a move before the deadline.

As I have said before this is stering probably by an agent or somebody at Coventry who I believe will profit from his sale as their is a sell on clause or Coventry and agent maybe working together on this. I am of the understanding that their is no release clause although JCH could have left if we were relegated. Having not kicked a ball since his opperation and unlikely to play before the Plymouth game and with the championship transfer deadline on August 8th, I can't see any Championship club taking the risk of signing him, Gc says there has been no interest in him from other clubs, clearly this is some waister trying to get clubs interested in him and hopeing to cash in.

So nothing confirmed about any of this, just rumours and speculation. Again. Makes me wonder if half of us are really Rovers supporters or are just wind up merchants with sod all else to do.

Who knows perhaps it’s even Rovers themselves spreading the news as they are desperate to cash in/release some transfer funds given how poorly we’ve performed so far, forwards wise,in the transfer market this summer.

It may be the case, but I doubt it.
If we are to sell JCH, I hope the club also factor in the loss of ticket sales. My maths works like this:
Sell JCH without an exciting replacement = loss of 800 ticket sales per match = £(800 x 20 x 23) = -£368,000
Keep JCH with no addition = no loss, no gain
Keep JCH AND get another marquee striker = gain of 800 ticket sales per match = +£368,000
OK, probably over simplistic, but you get the point.

The discussion arose from an article about JCH possibly being sold not from any supporter saying he is being sold. Slightly different to the Press Conference and Fruit Market stories which had no basis.

Are people suggesting he is not actually injured but being left out because transfer negotiations are ongoing? If he is injured i cannot see the attraction for other clubs because of the possible implications of his groin injury. Pretty sure he played several games at the end of last season with the injury.

I doubt that KB is leaving - GC indicates that he has not been able to bring in fast wingers so we stick with we got and that is very likely to include the very quick, very tricky and very good Kyle. Two players we have been strongly linked with are LS and AJ if we acquire them I assume a central defender and at least one striker will leave
