Approaches have been made to the club on your behalf as well you know. Probably by you as well. How ragbag would that have been to take on a YouTube scout? If you're talking about my avatar- as I've said before that's not a photo of me, the same as Henbury isn't a cat and Dirt Dogg isn't in the Wu Tang Clan. The gentleman in the photo is Lord Jonathan Sumption. Please excuse my ignorance but who is Lord Jonathon Sumption? Not that I believe in titles. Former Supreme Court Judge, widely regarded as one of the finest minds in English Law alive today.

I understand the cost of developing the Colony into something similar to Fleetwood Town’s training center would have been around 5 million and a 20 000 capacity stadium would cost 40 - 50 million. People investing tens of millions into projects at their own risk is how business works. The success of previous owners in securing the Mem as our home has now been far outweighed by the wasting of all the equity in it but at least 60% of that financial failure has happened in the last four years not in the previous eighteen. The cost of a cat 3 training facility was somewhere near £12m according to one of the directors of a company that was sounded out about building it. £5m would have gotten us 4 pitches and some basic changing facilities. I seem to remember him saying that the real cost was getting utility supply running into the place and in clearing all the groundwork’s to build the correct drainage for the site. Fleetwood’s facility reportedly cost 8 million and has 12 grass pitches, two artificial pitches, gym, fitness studio, physiotherapy suite, dedicated classrooms, meeting rooms, bar and restaurant , seven changing rooms and offices.

I’m aware of that Swiss, but for our particular piece of land, that’s how much the estimate was given.

I know this is silly thinking, but if I wanted to buy the land for a training centre I would have at least got some form of estimate as to how much it would cost to build that training centre. I don't think I would have bought the land and then found out it was too expensive to build there. The word incompetence springs to mind.

You're an intelligent chap Pirate. Tell me roughly how much a training ground and modern stadium (plus land cost) in the Bristol area would cost? I really struggle to get my head around anyone demanding that someone else must invest invest tens of millions at ultimately their own risk. I actually think the animosity towards the owners is wrapped up in a much bigger issue which is the financial distribution in the game and how clubs like ours have been cut adrift. The failure of previous owners in the 90's and 00's to generate funding and find a new, sustainable home is far more damming in my eyes. That was the missed opportunity. We've got the land for the training ground. You'd have to ask the owners why work hasn't started as we were promised we would be moving in there for March 2017. No idea how much the stadium would cost, but as WAQi has said in the past: "If we want to succeed, a new stadium has to happen. “A new stadium has to be built. We cannot be sustainable if we stay at the Memorial,” Al-Qadi said. We've got the land but the outlay on the facilities would be considerable I would suspect. The stadium outlay and cost of land would be on another level altogether. It's been clear for many a year that a new stadium is essential but acquiring the finance to do is a massive hurdle. It's frustrating and WAQ obviously made a big PR own goal with the over communicating early on in his reign. I guess I just recognise that investing the kind of money we're talking about is significant and it's unreasonable to expect anyone to plough that kind of cash in to a business already losing £3m a year.

I thought it was Evolution not Revolution. This implies step-by-step progress. Maybe first a decent training ground, or at least a bare minimum of what is required. Then maybe progress onto a new stadium? Over time maybe improve the training ground from the bare minimum, bit-by-bit, step-by-step, Evolution. It seems that we cannot have the training ground unless it is tied-in with a new stadium. All in one go with a gurt big bang! Which implies Revolution not Evolution? Don't know about you but I'm confused.

protest against what exactly? An owner covering the huge losses now involved in running a football club? An owner fighting off a group of machiavellian amateurs trying to force a bad deal for the club? It’s the same noise that black and gold had when Higgs was in charge. There wasn’t actually any point to it, because no one had actually put forward a plan of how to do things differently with a guarantee to prop up the club. They just fancied a noisier moan than usual. What is the deal trying to be forced through and why is it bad for the club?

Are you joking? Have you seen the moronic bollocks that gets posted on here and Facebook? There wouldn't be a club left to run before the season ended. Someone yesterday was suggesting a 25 year lease would be acceptable so long as it meant we moved to a new stadium. We wouldn't have any players left (except our "most naturally gifted player", Tom Nichols) because everyone would be queueing up to "drive them there myself" to any club that enquired. Just look at the Ollie Clarke thread. We wouldn't sign any new players; just look at how every single signing we make is absolutely trashed on here before they ever kick a ball in a blue and white quartered shirt. And we'd spunk endless money on surplus stock of every single thing because apparently no one can understand the concept of a limited edition shirt. The main thing keeping this club going at the moment is the fact our drongo supporters don't own it. A bit patronising, but in tune with your other posts. I don't think many fans are setting out a fully costed business plan, with finance already in place. Just some people expressing their opinions on social media. Ordinary fans, or 'drongos', as you choose to call them. Exactly my point. It's all the same chatter that was going on in the 90s. These people are fantasists.

What is the deal trying to be forced through and why is it bad for the club? Ask KM!! As has been pointed out many times before he doesn’t seem to have contact details, otherwise I would! With respect, you have acted in the same manner as those you deride! You’ve said someone is trying to force through a deal that is not good for the club which implies you know what the deal is? Either you don’t know and are just mud slinging or you’re being an ITK without sharing your source or further details.

Not really like that at all since the family were able to buy the land not just ruminate about doing it on an internet forum. I can picture it now - 2.15 on Saturday afternoon Wael announces on Radio Bristol he's prepared to sell to a fan's trust. "Errr ... we haven't thought that far ahead, you fake sheik! We want you out but can you hang on for a bit ... errr ... ummm ..." Operating losses of £2m a year. Let's say 10 people are willing to put £10k in annually and 50 people are willing to put £2k in a year. The remaining £1.8m comes from where? What, 3,000 (that's about one third of largest recent attendance) people are going to put in £600 on top of their season ticket are they ... sorry ... are you? Are you f**k. Plus we want a new stadium, plus we want a new training facility, plus we want you funding wages of Championship quality players. Come on, you fake "fans" trust, you're not delivering what you promised. We want you fake "fans" out!

Someone from his family decided that 4K a week on a 3.5 year contract was sane enough to be signed off. I don’t think even the fruit loops on the Facebook page would be mad enough to do that!
