He was also at games but never got the opportunity of an interview. That certain ex 82 manager broke the City transfer record at the time and spent a lot of money to get them promoted. Other than Cheltenham 18 years ago and when he took over at Notts County for a short time with £1 million Schmeichel in goal and high earners like Ben Davies and Lee Hughes, he has been poor wherever he has been: Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest, Portsmouth, Burnley and Stoke City. |

I’m not even trying to argue with fact but my point being that he has the knowledge, contacts and nous. That doesn’t disappear but I take your point. |

Good job we got ben. His coaching skills with his mentor coppell got their last team to 8th in the league.
