Wael always wanted to do what he’s doing now but couldn’t , I always believed that. Now he can and he’s doing it. He stuck with it through hard times. He’s a Gashead. Hard times ? Pah Where was he when we had to go to bloody Bath ? He’s a glory hunter 😂

Clearing the debt allows for others to invest knowing their money is not going on debt relief

Clearing the debt allows for others to invest knowing their money is not going on debt relief Or Wael's decided to clear the debt whilst he's got an opportunity? It seems a strange time to double the BoD if he's just about to introduce new investors, who I assume will also want a seat on the Board. We just don't know how much finance Wael's now got at his disposal, it could be enough to fund a stadium build.

Also MS TG and KMB are not shareholders, just operational directors, so if an investor comes in, his shareholding will give him an automatic place on the board. I would say Wael has a substantial personal fortune, not that it’s anyone’s business, but even if you had inherited £50m, you wouldn’t waste half of it on £3m a year loss making football club and loss half of it to debts unless you have a huge reserve behind you or you know you have nailed on additional investment coming in.
