We all thought it could not get any worse when we sacked the inept and totally useless BG, well ffs it has.PT eloquent and confident in his interviews but bloody
clueless when it comes too setting up a team. I think we can just concede the next game and hope that we can get some more options for PT to consider for the Rochdale game next saturday .

BG actually has a better record than PT this season if you bear in mind PT hasnt played any of the top 5 and BG played 4 of them

I was thinking the same, what has PT improved? The team just looks clueless and worse there is no passion or fight. The team are lucky there are no crowds or they’d be getting pelters. I can’t see any way out of this. Still mustn’t grumble.........

But definitely no to GC we were e in a really false position towards the end of his tenure and performances were grim, although we did win I suppose!

Is this even a question? Garner took over a team flying, 4th place in the league and presided over a run of form that saw them plummet down the table. Then he overhauled a group of players (Craig, JCH, Sercombe) that I only wish we still had in the side and replaced them with the one of the most overhyped, mediocre group of players I have seen at Rovers.
Tisdale is just picking up the pieces and trying to work with a lacklustre, imbalanced squad and a bunch of injuries. I know his team selection has been very questionable as of late but I’d 100% rather have him and his experience in the dugout than Garner.

I’m sure some people come on here happy to moan when we have lost, almost the highlight of their weekend, to post rubbish. Garner no Coughlan no, Tisdale needs another striker this week and see if we can offload some players but that won’t be easy.

QUESTIONABLE , just a bit. This bloke is nearly as big a disaster as BG his only excuse is he did not sign the players.

PT every day of the week. We are in bad form and struggling with injuries. The selections have I think been symptomatic of the imbalance in the squad and the fact we simply have far more defensive players fit than offensive ones. I do believe PT needs to get the team to defend better though, because we are so poor defensively at the moment. This is where he and his coaching staff are letting themselves down at the moment. The offensive issues are primarily down to lack of options in the squad.

The board must hold some responsibily around the recruitment and lack of resources. It is clear the 1.3 million from J.C.H was never intended to go back into the pot. Of course Garner built up the most unbalanced side I have watched in 40 years plus. We all know strikers require more fees/salaries. It is clear some enquires may of been made and what we were offering fell well short . Therefore the board decided to gamble on beefing up areas to gloss over our lack of strike force . What have amazed me about tisdale is he is doing more of the same . Why do we need another right back if 3 players can fit that role ?? I have been saying for 3 months like a broken record ,' we have NO strike force. I said this in mid October . Maybe the board set a budget for a striker plan A have been rejected and plan B is a rookie on loan. Well that ain't good enough and if we get relegated . It's broadly down to lack of financial input. I rather the club be honest and we can accept division two football may balance the books in the long run

I supported the idea of developing young players but I think the problem lies with recruitment in the summer. Someone said we have 40-odd players on the books which is madness. It was like a lottery and hoping if you bought enough tickets you would win a prize. To start a season with only 3 strikers only one of which had any league experience was just stupid. The recruitment was down to TW and BG so for me the blame primarily rests with that pair.
I don't think we are down yet as Ozzy and Nicholson are central to the team and Tis simply cannot work out how to play without them. Similarly, Daly offers something upfront that can make a difference. If we can get and keep these three fit and sign a striker who can hold the ball and chips in with a few goals we could still get out of this mess.
But that is a lot of IFs and PT must be a worried man tonight.

I will give an example.. . Rochdale were shocked when Henderson left and they received nothing. We just sold JCH for 1.3 million plus add one.
We both showed interested in Humpries from Southend . The bid from Rochdale was more appealing and better than ours. If this is true it says everything. Rochdale were able to outbid us ....

Even putting aside their complete lack of ability, I'm struggling to recall when we last had such a gutless, meek squad of individuals. Most other clubs would've shown Widdrington the door, along with the idiot the "selection committee" he was a part of appointed, but Rovers decided to promote him to a seat on the board! Beggars belief really 😂

They weren’t able to outbid us, I believe it was something to do with Humphries wanting to move back up north to be closer to his family. Sometimes that happens in football transfers.
