Ben Garner, I hope no other football club is stupid enough to ever employ you again, your daft beliefs, three strikers going into the season, releasing Tony Craig, banishing Abs. You are a disgrace, an embarrassment to our history. The person that employed you should also walk tonight, being beat by a pathetic Swindon team is dire and the final straw.

Funnily enough Ben Garner got more out of this squad than anyone since and in hindsight was probably the best person to keep us up this year.
That said he is without doubt the worst manager in our history (I’m not including Tisdale who makes a fair case for it too.)

So what happens to Rovers if Wael walks tonight as Garner was clearly his choice? Sadly for Rovers Wael hasn't a clue when it comes to running a football club. Whilst it's easy to blame Garner we had the whole of the winter to line up strikers etc for January but all we signed was a goalie and left side defender.

Wael is the owner, I’m not suggesting he goes, Starnes and Widdrington were involved in his appointment.

Secondly I now question whether the owner have realised funding a side losing £4 million a year is such a good thing. If not then why not force a buy in window which could of avoided all this ?. Thirdly it feels a wind up. We were all so positive 3_5 years ago dreaming of grounds / championship football. Yes Garner started the rot but the owner could of intervened . I really don't know what happens next .

I demand to know who decided Hanlan, Ayunga and Daly was enough to score the goals needed to stay in league one. Whoever made that decision is a tosser and shouldn’t be allowed near a game for football manager let alone a football club. It should never have come to this.

I honestly thought we'd be ok. I thought we'd give him his Ben Ten. Find out he wasn't up for it, the board and his supporters could come to terms with it, we could get a proper manager and kick off for the rest of the season.
But somehow it's all got so so much worse. I think the cracks were already showing, and I don't think for a second it vindicates Garner. I think the nail in the coffin was the awful tenure of Tisdale where he failed to bring in that striker that most of us knew were missing back as far as September.
Like you Somerset, I hope that the bloke never gets a job in football again.

Dobson, Buckle and Garner, three of the same ilk, Gary Thompson got us relegated but the guy tried and had passion, was an honest pro, unlike those three charlatans.

Garner should have gone before the start of the season, after taking us from 2nd in the league to the bottom of the table last season. He showed he was not good enough.

We don't know the full story only that JCH leaves for 1.2 mil along with 3_4 other strikers and we only buy two rookies and an average div 3 striker. Perhaps there was no money or the wages were poor. Funny how we targeted 4_6 strikers and they went to other clubs. Its a collective cock up from top to bottom.

You will soon realise that no manger will get consistent positive results out of this squad despite the DOF trying to fool us all. Garner, Tisdale and now Barton have all failed.

But Wael found the money to replace Tisdale with Barton and co, surely signing a striker or two wouldn't have cost any more? Unless we'd hit the salary cap by signing so many LB's etc, perhaps that's what comes of letting Garner play Fantasy Football with a L1 side.

I get your point but Wael is paying Starnes and Widdrington good money to make those decisions. Buck stops with them in my eyes for not ensuring we were set up well enough going into the season.

Tommy and his little tiny teeny Chuffing weeny black book of profiles, can leve through that little red door 🚪. Ben enjoy your last and only good wage you’ll get out of football. Wael grow a pair and speak up, scilence on the terraces making things easy? ?? Apologies to both Mr Tisdale, and Mr Barton for these blemishes on your managerial career, neither your pairs fault, (not a dig but you won’t care or hurt like us gasheads). Where are we going from here? I won’t sleep well tonight.... again. Need these clocks to change to get a lie in.
