Shame he's gone but I felt he was Gavin Reilly Mk II. Exactly what I have said for months, posted the very same on here several times.

Im not suprised, but I think we may see him scoring goals next season Completely agree with this. I personally think he'll be one that we'll regret in the years to come.

I’ll bet you now he doesn’t score more than 13 goals next season . The thing is , we need players who can deliver now not in 2,3,4 years time.

Missed six games with diarrhoea ... incredible !
That said bet he will score goals at Stevenage - really hoping that’s the first of many to move on.

Couple that with a 20+ goal striker and you're looking at play offs

I think he’ll get 8 goals 😀

To be honest I think the only players I'd be disappointed at losing would be Nicholson and rodman. The rest...meh...feel nothing towards them as players, even our alf tbh.

The same was said about Broom who went on to be sold to Peterborough and was then loaned to Burton in aiding their superb turnaround in form. He's now a Championship player.

Where you got that info from as I thought it was Rodman who missed games due to diarrhoea/weight loss? It's odd how JB never played him claiming that he wasn't fit, was he worried he might actually score goals if he played.

He started most games on the bench for Burton and he's now been transfer listed, so he's unlikely to be a Championship player next season.

Its Peterborough policy that all players with a year left on their contract are put on the transfer list tbf. But either way, point still stands - one we regret.

So the whole DNA of signing young talent to develop seems to be torn up before our very eyes
Now signing 35 year old defenders to clog our way out of League 2
Surely big Tommy is surplus to requirements, his policy now an apparent shambles?

Barton must be very confident of getting 2 new strikers in having applied the filters of 'striker', 'out of contract', 'lower league', 'plays in the north of England' and 'scouser'.
Let's hope the search engine turned up a couple of good ones.

Saw very little in his 1.5 seasons at Rovers to suggest he will be any great loss.
3 goals from 31 appearances (14 starts) is a pretty poor return and other than hard work he contributed very little.
Would like to think we can bring in 2 better strikers over the next few weeks.

Revolution not evolution! Very hard to get out of L2 with a bunch of school boys with no real league experience of the punchy end of professional football. You need grit and determination.

Well that leaves us with two strikers (if you can call Ayunga a striker), At Palace Daly was highly thought of and I feel he will go on to be a good player , unfortunate at Rovers with injuries and often playing in a poor team. Good luck James.
