Ah well, 25 years of watching live football down the pan. So very sad the worlds come to this. Hope it may change one day! Good luck gas, it was a pleasure. 😥😥😥 I wouldn’t be too hasty, I think we’re having these issues now as Rovers haven’t held a test event. City have just announced that for their friendly against Villa , fans don’t need to show any proof of vaccinations or lateral flow test results, probably because they hosted the National league final & used that as their test event. So attending matches should become a little more straightforward after Saturday. city wont have that choice come sept if boris gets his way.

I cant get onto this site - Anyone else having problems ? What a shambles - I have bought 4 tickets and so far only the 10 year olds can go - I have been vaccinated but cant use the app as it must be so busy and the web site link seems not to be working either The link is definitely correct but I suppose it's crashed with 50 million adults all trying to use it this week. I bloody told Boris he couldn't run it from his dad's Commodore 64. Probably doesn't help that he's running Emlyn Hughes International soccer on it at the same time....

Correct I am double jabbed however if they insist on discriminating against people who can’t or won’t have it after September I’ll be off. It's sad that so few seem to appreciate this. No-one should be forced to have a vaccination in order to continue their normal lives. Like you I am double jabbed. I oppose the idea that a healthy twenty year old will be forbidden attending a match or going to the pub if he doesn't wish to take the vaccine. How quickly so many go into us and them mode. I got the vaccine as I don’t particularly want to die from covid plus my fathers side of the family have history of respiratory problems in later life. A no brainer. However totally agree with your last sentence. It’s absolutely appalling and basically a complete loss of freedom of choice. If Rovers insist on it I won’t be back. They are (in my opinion) agreeing to medical based discrimination. Needs to be stopped ASAP.

I am happy enough for Rovers to say to those that can’t / don’t chose to have the vaccine…ok then you need to test within 48 hours of entry that is fine.No problem with that. Sensible. I’ll happily show my proof of vaccine as long as others are allowed under that policy. No vaccine no entry….wrong. IMO

Glad I bought my second vaccine forward to the 31st as it’s a pain in the ass with the LFT tests. Will still have to do one for the first home game though.

Got my NHS letter confirming both jabs.1 in Stafford and 2 in Seaton.Eventually got my phone to download the mobile QR code equivalent but only at the fifth attempt. They send you a 6 digit number and it kept saying it was the wrong number!!!!! even though they had sent me every one!!! Anyway left it for an hour and all sorted now but it only lasts for a month.Bet the 'Bing Bong' man will struggle.

But in the middle of a pandemic, they're asking people take take a 30 second free test at home to prove they don't have the deadly virus in order to attend. It's really not hard, is it?

I'd be surprised if they did do that though, as that would rule out anyone under 16 and those who're allergic/aren't allowed to have it.

Just going by what that vaccine minister said earlier. As you say would technically rule out a lot of people.

I’m assuming the system will automatically review the dates of vaccination and extend in a months time. Maybe when you get to the stage of needing a booster they won’t extend unless you’ve had it

I don’t see what the problem is..??
This was exactly the same procedure Silverstone used at the BGP last weekend where 140k of us had to do it to enter that. It was highly successful there and so far I’ve taken a LFT everyday since returning and no positive test or symptoms.
If you didn’t have it on the door ( one of my mates did his 3 hours too early) they gave you a test kit to do so there and then. (We made him buy an extra round of beers for being a numpty).

I'll come back to you in winter on this, would love to attend Silverstone next year. Only been to Hungarian GP a couple of years ago when of course it was an absolute bore, but comfortable win for Hamilton at least.
