Just me or was anyone slightly disappointed with Pitman? Never going to be the quickest, or the leanest, possibly not 100%, but, dunno.

I get the "getting him Match fit" bit, but at 1 nil and desperate for 3 points you'd have thought fresher legs would have been the better option? If we had one that is.

Pitman looked totally out of place, surrounded by fit sprinters, he resembled someone falling out of a pub door, on to the pitch with pie and a pint in hand.
He is going to be a 20 minuet sub at best, but I hope to be proved wrong.
I was very impressed by the first half performance, gave me hope for the coming months ahead

Just out of interest, and because I missed it, who was Captain last night?

And I remember one ball into the middle where he was inches away from contact at the far post. With him in the team we will look more of a threat imo. But he always did look unfit, he doesn’t look as if he can run, but he never could, but he will wind the opposition up and cause a problem for them, which he did last night. But you’re right in a way, lots on here will be “slightly disappointed” with him most matches but I’d say he’ll do ok for us. UTG!

Can you hear the haters sing, noooooooo noooooooo… I can’t hear a f&£@ing thing. Woooaaah woooaah Just got back. Lost my voice. Lovesit. Finley my MOM. This is what I was expecting to see this evening. We finally win a game, our first win in 11 games and just JB's 4th win in 22 games and we get "can you hear the haters sing". Is that really needed? Can you not enjoy the win like the rest of us without throwing digs towards your fellow fans? You do realise us "haters" don't actually want us to lose right? We actually want to win. We love Rovers more than we hate JB believe it or not. We are delighted with the win this evening. We played very well in the first half and I hope we really build on this and gained confidence on this win. But let's be sensible here yeah. If Rovers lose on Saturday, you won't see me saying "can you hear the lovers sing". I'm still singing songs from last night. Bloody Hell at times it was loud in the Thatchers. Fantastic effort from passionate fans - of which we all are, in our own funny ways. That level of support is guaranteed when we see a committed performance. " This is what I was expecting to see this evening" - I can't help but think if you had that expectation in advance, it must be an unwelcomed by-product resulting from constant negativity on here. Perhaps I'm wrong - I can't really comment as I am certainly a glass half full fan. I look forward to GasChat being a more positive place. Bravo for taking the lead on that. UTG. UTJBBAWA.

Desperate to be involved to help the squad against our medical teams advice ... Your comment is harsh beyond measure. Pitman is exactly what we need, putting the Quarters before everything else unlike Hanlan who refuses to play and to an extent Jaakkola who seems to be less and less available for the slightest of reasons.

Said to joey with the chances we created he would have scored 4 or 5 in the first half, Danny Dyer is he right or is he wrong? 😂😂😂

Figure of speech rather than actually wanting us to lose What I more meant by it was those who were claiming we’ll be in NL, Barton out etc - it would be nice if they commented on the games we win as well, rather than just the games we lose Maybe they are trying not to get carried away with a single goal home win against another who had lost their opening 2 games. But after so many defeats, I can understand that any win to put a smile on our faces is welcome!! Maybe, but there’s a difference in not getting carried away and saying nothing.
