How hard can it really be?
I bet the statos can say the goals per game ratio for Collins, James and Nichols, but with the execption of JCH who has scored constantly for us since Taylor?
There must be players like Jak who could do a job at this level.
We just seemed to have resorted to young inexperienced youngsters like Daly or players past their prime like Clarke and Pitman.
We won't be doing much until this issue is addressed. Feel sorry for Thomas, Sammy and Evans as they are our goal threat apart from set pieces.

Those, so say, working alongside Paul Tisdale found it impossible...

This is why Rovers have never achieved much in their history, we've always struggled to sign forwards, and have only ever achieved brief success when we've managed it, until they've decided to move on 😕

Keeping them has been the issue.

When John Ward was boss we needed a striker or two to avoid the Conference but amazingly not one was signed.Think our scouting network needs seriously upgrading.

Get Richard Kone from Athletic Newham in on trial. Quite clearly playing below his natural level and knows where the back of the net is. Two footed, pacey, powerful and only 19-year-old so wouldn't count towards the squad size restrictions. A low level but 25 goals already this season is impressive. No harm in trialling the lad.

Sounds like he could give us a lift or at escalate our goal threat.

Strange though it may seem we do not seem to have any problem scoring at the moment and i would very much like to see us stabilise the back 4 and stop gifting goals away by silly mistakes, never the less would not say know to a goal poacher aka Richard Walker as well!

I've told one of the scouts employed by the club about him, but whether that is feeding back to the manager and his coaches or not is a different matter. Seems like a strange situation as Joey alluded to recently.

Essex Senior League what level is that, most likely below Swindon Submarines where our own Kieran Phillips is now playing and scoring? If Wael is serious about a promotion push he's got to back the manager this January and sign a proven striker or two.

I agree we need another option too though.

Wael has consistently backed his managers, salary caps/squad size will restrict what the manager can achieve in the January window
