Fair result, we could have won it at the death but not to be, still much better than earlier in the season. UTG

Keep drawing and winning and we will be safe from relegation. jeep drawing and winning an well make top 7. As long as it’s not three or four draws for every win obviously.

Frustrating to drop 2 points after being 2 up but having played 120 mins in midweek the fact we still should have won late on shows the spirit & character of this squad. Not sure how Nicholson missed, if he'd gone with his right foot instead of his left I think he scores. All in all a very positive week, two hard away games to come but I'm a lot more confident in this group now that I was a month ago. Onwards & upwards Oh and get Evans contract extended NOW !!

More than happy with that , ok we let a two goal lead slip ( not surprised as we always make defensive mistakes) but this is a massive improvement on sh** this team were dishing up on a regular basis not so long ago. These players also do seem to be finally getting it together. We aren’t going to win every game and there is a long way to go but as I said on another post , I’m not getting carried away every point we can get is a step in the right direction. Would of taken a point before the game so I’m not upset , a bit frustrated but this is a game we most certainly would of gone on to lose a few weeks back. UTG !!!!!!

Frustrating not to win after being 2-0 up. I guess Tranmere did to us today what we’ve being doing to others recently. Sounds a decent performance though and perhaps the mid week match with extra time when Tranmere rested might have had an impact. It’s a shame because those 2 points cost us 4 places in the table. Long way to go yet. Well done the team though it’s another decent performance. Move on to the next match. Other results showed this division is nothing special and keep doing what we’re doing at the moment with a few changes here and there we’ll be ok. Oldham beating Port Vale is a perfect example of it being very open.
UTG!

I enjoyed that, not the losing a two goal lead, but the attitude, hard work and spirit that was on display. Carry on like that and we'll win more than we lose. Evans, Finley, Nicko (apart from the late miss) outstanding. Kilgour was solid too, the defence wasn't as organised after he went off. A cracking game of football by two honest, hard working teams.

No complaints from me, yes we could have won but after following Rovers for 60 + years and suffering 'after the lord mayors show' so many times, to finish the week with a point v a decent side will do nicely , on we go on our travels with renewed confidence .

I didn't think we were allowed to criticise Belshaw because he celebrates goals and therefore "gets it" ? I don’t get the love in with Belshaw. Really don’t rate him. He’s an ok enough keeper for an average league Two side but has conceded 29 in 18 and made a few errors along the way as well as some decent saves, the talk of him being the best in the last 30 years by some is madness imo. The love in is because he celebrates goals wildly, he’s much better than Nicky Culkin but Culkin also got away with a lot because he was a personality.

Really can’t knock that performance, always looking to get forward, and so close to getting the winner… both teams very decent. You can feel the team spirit and confidence increasing, which at this level means everything. Happy Gashead on train home to London this eve….

Finley superb I thought today, great energy and showed pace and skill. Evans looks unplayable at times and like the rest of the team fantastic commitment. A few occasions the combination play, pace and skill was electric without a real cutting edge. Maybe one striker away from being a top 3 team. There's signs of an excellent squad here, which the further the season goes with us in touching distance I reckon I could see us staging a late charge. Good feel around the ground today and the support for the team was loud and rousing at times. Happy with that

Decent performance two good sides I thought we were a bit fortunate to be 2-0 up , we’d made the best of two set pieces and found ourselves two goals ahead but felt that it had been a fairly even game at half time and that we’d probably need another to win it which unfortunately proved correct. Tranmere looked decent , a bit dirty but solid and a threat the sort of side that does alright in this division. We looked much the same without the dirtyness and obviously tired as the game went on which is understandable considering Tuesday night. I’d have taken a point before the game but it does feel like two points lost. The best thing to take away from this last couple of weeks is that it feels like ive got our Rovers back. Last season combined with the second half of the season before really hit me hard . Harder than any other relegation including to the conference. Not being there , 3 different managers , seeing it go from near the top of league 1 with such a tough battling side to a bunch of wimps in free fall and not being able to even be there was heartbreaking as I’m sure it was for so many of us. Things are looking better. UTG.

Players were fuming that they didn't win - shows what a difference there is in confidence and ambition within this squad now.

I’ve missed 3 home games already , usually only miss one or two at the most. Performances like orient where we were 3-0 down before half time made me feel glad I hadn’t bothered , I left earlier than I’d ever left a Rovers match. Performances like tonight make me regret not buying one. I want our players to put in the kind of performances that keep making me regret not getting that season ticket. It actually does feel that for the first time in nearly two years we are moving in the right direction. Two years of tippy tapping it sbout in defence trying to play like some kind of Barcelona of the lower divisions got us in to this mess. Now it looks like we are finally coming out of it.

I walked out of that Orient game at half time absolutely fuming with the sorry state we were in on and off the pitch, I ventured back today for the first time since and have to say that the performance and character of the team was a million miles away from what it was at that Orient game.
