No chance he’ll go there but I’m pretty sure the first job he gets offered further up the pyramid he will jump ship. He’s made no secret of wanted to manage at the highest level he can . He’ll want to do it as quick as he can as well. I disagree. I have just finished his autobiography and I can't see him jumping ship just because a bigger club comes in. Everton is a different story but otherwise, he will only go if pushed or he gets the job done in terms of what he has set as his target. I’ve not read his autobiography ( is it a good read ? ) , I’m just going by his interviews where he talks about wanting to manage at the top levels . He’s not going to get anywhere near that whilst here and we’re restricted by playing at the Mem . Most footballers and managers will jump ship at the first opportunity to move up if given the chance . I manybe wrong and I often am !

Its a great and honest insight into his childhood, the challenges he faced etc. Goes a long way to explain his background behind the troubles he has faced without making them sound like excuses. But also what makes him such a motivated and honest high achiever. After reading it, it makes me feel like we are very very lucky to have him here. His mindset is bulletproof........ now. But also that he has loyalty and feels that is very important in left. He says he cant join a team without getting emotionally involved with the club. He says you can't do your best without doing that. He is loyal and will stay until his job is done. His target is to get us to the champ so I think he will do that before leaving or get sacked first. Also, its changed my mind about whether he did attack his wife or not. I was on the fence but now I don't think it happened at all! Its available as an audiobook too, defo worth it.

No doubt in my mind either if clubs such as: Blackburn, Blackpool, Bolton, Preston et al were looking for a new manager in the future, JB would be a candidate, particularly if we were to gain promotion. I would be disappointed if he joined Blackburn being an ex Burnley player.

I wonder which manager has the biggest 'jump' up from one appointment to the next. As for a jump down Mark Hughes must be close although I guess he had a break before dipping his toes back in the water Well Dave Hockaday left FGR in October 2013 and his next head coach job was Leeds United in June 2014. Not quite club to club but a big jump nonetheless!

He’s gotta be successful here before he gets better offers ….. so let’s hope he goes ! Lol Exactly. So far he has an unsuccessful play off place at Fleetwood and a relegation with us on his managerial record. Not a record for many chairmen to get excited about.

It'd have to be a lot of money for anyone to want the Everton job.

Also highly recommend for anyone who is boycotting rovers while he is manager.

Im the same with funding City82 Ltd - Going to watch the Killers at the Ricoh next month rather than at Trashton a few days earlier
