Having just watched Burnley beat Everton, I can't see Everton staying up now. Not with the fixtures left. As Joey is a boyhood Everton fan but also a big fna of Dyche's he must have had split loyalties. But Everton if are a championship team (which I'm convinced they will be) it made me think it makes the chances of Joey managing Everton one day more realistic. Obviously Everton might go straight back up if they went down so then wouldn't be likely but if they didn't and Joey is still doing well.. Is this a joke? Everton have principles so would never appoint JB and the fans unlike ours wouldnt stand for it No it's not a joke. I'm guessing Newcastle, Burnley, QPR, Man City etc don't have principles seeing as Joey played for them. I'm intrigued what puts Everton on this high bar of footballing royalty, being able to look down on all these other teams. Where can I find this list of teams that have principles and don't have principles? Is there a league table for this somewhere?

Sorry but I just can't help myself shouting 'MR DINSDALE' IN the guise of the late great NORMAN Wisdom! On the original topic of the post (JB FOR EVERTON') No chance at this moment in time. JB still has a bit to prove as a manager and is no where near the finished article, think he will make it though eventually. On the wider issues raised by MR Dinsdale think its a bit unfair to cast Rovers fans or the club in a bad light over JB'S tenure. Mr Dinsdale seems to be selective in who he prepared to forgive and forget, big Duncan gets the ok for the changes he has made to his life, JB gets no credit for trying to turn his life around after an upbringing many on here would not have survived. Perhaps Mr Dinsdale has not bothered to find out about any of the good stuff JB does and just relies on the press and social media for his headlines. I do not think for one moment is a 'wife beater' in the basic sense, i do believe he and his wife had a Barny which got out of hand at a family gathering, goodness i.ve witnessed a few of them in my time! I am a life long Rovers fan and I consider myself to be a decent human being part of which means give everyone a chance and judge them on my experience of them not on what i read in the press or am told is on Social Media.

This is so ignorant. Duncan Ferguson was wrongly sent to prison. He made mistakes as a young man but spent his entire life working tirelessly for charity refusing any publicity for it. Even now he does so much for the local community. How can you compare him with someone who beats his wife up, stubs cigars in players eyes, bullies and abuses people constantly and compares results to the holocaust. Any decent football club and any decent football fans would not tolerate Joey Barton. Duncan Ferguson is one of the nicest men in football. Not worth the hassle trying to explain it. There are plenty of threads on here where posters who now defend Barton to the bone have made themselves look silly regarding comments whilst he was at Fleetwood.

Joey Barton will not ever be greater than Everton.
