What an absolute joke of a decision. No regard for the working class once again, which is fitting considering it involves a MONARCH to be fair. Many have already made travel arrangements some of which won’t be able to be refunded, or wont be able to make the rearranged matches. Sure, sit inside and be miserable, it’s just what r Liz would have wanted.

Totally baffled by that decision tbh. I just don't get the necessity at all.

I despise this pathetic miserable country more and more every day. And yes, I’d love to leave, but unfortunately I cannot afford to do so because of how sh**e the country is.

Glad I decided to swerve MK now. Feel sorry for anyone that has bought train tickets already as there is 0 chance they're seeing a refund on that

A baffling decision really, the EFL tributes to Prince Philip were poignant and could have been repeated for the late Queen.

Probably the right decision to reflect the change in the country's profile. It's a moment to reflect and football would look very out of step as other sports postpone other events.

Other sports still going ahead, going to look stupid when they’re all paying their respects whilst all football is off.

The most baffling thing is people being surprised by the decision. It was a no brainer it was going to happen, get over it. Pay your respects.

Do you think this forces people to mourn? I hope you will be doing nothing all weekend as a mark of respect. No shops, no takeaways, no watching TV. Its what she would have wanted.

Not in the least surprised with this decision, football is right out there on the front line with this sort of nonsense, meanwhile the new King gets on with his duties today, so should the country. I expect there was great pressure on the football authorities from all sorts of charities, Et el for this decision to be made?

The most baffling thing is people being surprised by the decision. It was a no brainer it was going to happen, get over it. Pay your respects. How should we do this. Please do tell us. No one was surprised because we are a daft country, so bound to happen. If you think this makes one person more likely to pay respects you have no idea. More respect and commemoration would have been at a game. I think every game for the 17 day mourning period should now be off, you?
