Argyle have sold their initial allocation of tickets for this cup fixture.
Their fans will probably be the record number of Away fans at The MEM for this particular competition.
Meanwhile.
Swansea City has recalled Morgan Whittaker from his loan spell at Plymouth Argyle.
The 21-year-old joined the Pilgrims on a season-long loan last summer, and had enjoyed an outstanding first half of the season at Home Park.
Whittaker has nine goals and seven assists in 27 appearances this season, and he was named League One player of the month for September.
One of those goals was the penalty in the 1-1 draw at Argyle against BRFC in the group stage.

They've already announced the signing of Saxon Earley form Stevenage, who's apparently another good young LB.

If our conspiracy theory protesters continue their boycott is there a chance we could be outnumbered by away fans?

Just had a look at the comments on Plymouth’s Twitter page about this, the initial allocation was only about 300 tickets and the most the comments are talking about a boycott of the competition. So it’s not just us!

However : this competition have seen some big followings at our ground. Sunderland brought over 2000 a few seasons ago. Bristol City brought the same and Exeter packed the South Stand and most of the away terracing 10 years ago. It be interesting to see how many Muff will bring .

Such a shame I’ll never attend a game in this ‘competition’ until it’s put back to its original format.

I think I read that Finn Azaz had an ankle injury so hoping he might be out for them - very good player.
Anyone aware if all the ground will be open or parts closed off ?

Looking at the ticket page the west terrace and south stand currently have no tickets available It's because no one knows how many Plymouth will bring. Initially they will get entire south stand . Then if demands grow away terrace and maybe south / west stand. So west terrace won't go on sale. All we know is they sold 300 in 48 hours .

Because thousands of fans across the country don’t trust the EFL or FA, and believe that maybe a Wembley appearance will be nice, and even make a few pounds but ultimately it will cost us in the end. A case of short term gain, long term pain in my opinion (and many, many others).

Now that all the kiddy teams are out. The quarter finals comprise of real teams all just 2 victories away from wembley.
I would see it valid now to attend matches. After all this is the only cup competition Rovers have ever made semi finals and finals in. Watney cup was a select team tournament so doesnt really count and wasnt played at a national stadium.

No problem with people still boycotting the comp, but I'd like to see a decent crowd supporting this team in what could be a rare chance for them to play at Wembley (until this years play off final!)

I think a fairly healthy crowd will turn out for this one, for Pizza Trophy standards at least. 90mins from a televised semi final and two games from Wembley, bring it on!

Now that all the u21’s teams have been eliminated, I can start to take the competition seriously & will along with my son probably attend the Plymouth tie. 50k prize money for the club for winning the match & a game from Wembley which could financially be a huge bonus plus a great chance for a lot of our younger fans to experience Wembley for the first time. I can understand people’s reasons for boycotting but let’s be honest the premier league are putting in a substantial amount of money into the competition every season so it’s not going to be scrapped & there’s nothing better than seeing the team you support run out at Wembley.

The FA met today to discus putting Youth sides into the Carabao cup and scrapping FA cup replays, all to favour bigger clubs. Again the lower league teams will be bribed with more trickle down money which we never actually see.
