I don't wanna focus on gender as it seems so irrelevant but I think it's first ref I've seen (this season) that has been able to keep up with play and did less (not 0) guessing as a result.
In football (usually) if we see the same we get to the same conclusion... can the EFL please pay to make these people professional.

I've been running the line for 15 years. I keep up wit play. I still have to guess sometimes!
But yes, general consensus around me was that most of the ref's decisions seemed correct, and overall was decent. Not perfect, but much better than most.
There was general annoyance when our players surrounded her after a Wycombe foul that led to a yellow card. It was clearly a yellow and no more, she had her hand in her pocket, but our players decided to surround her for no reason, actually delaying her showing the card. It's a yellow lads, stop being idiots and get on with the bloody game

Have to say, very impressed with the ref, far better than most we have seen this season, home and away. Felt she allowed the game to play out without any fussy interventions, unlike 90% of her predecessors this season. Fair play to her and good luck to her in the future as for some of our idiots calling her out, that’s par for the course I’m afraid.

Female officials have to take the same fitness test as blokes. When I was on the line I had to take a fitness test at Aston Uni.This was pre the 'Bleep Test' and was 6 and three quarters laps in 12 minutes followed by the sprint tests 15 minutes afterwards. A very well known ref failed his test but was still reffing the following season so guess he must have re taken it!!!!

Last night's (Tuesday) ref was very efficient and I thought got most things correct.
Can we have her every week?

My opinion was she had a decent enough game. Better than most we have seen down the mem. I did think she was a tad petty with some free kicks where there was minimal contact and shouldn't have been given. But on the whole decent.

Certainly one of the better refs we've had this season

Could anyone see if the corner ball from Wycombe was in the quadrant or on the line. The ref seemed to be pedantic about that and the player was adamant the ball was legally placed. I couldn’t see from my position.

She's the first woman referee I have seen and I must say she's the best referee we had this season I wish her a long career.

I couldn’t see from my position. I thought the Wycombe player was just being awkward, as would just moving the ball back a few mm's really make that much difference?

My daughter put her head in her hands when she saw it was a female ref. She was worried for the verbal abuse she would likely receive.
I said "Don't worry, I bet she's going to be the best ref we've had this season!". Not sure if she was the best ref, but she was very good for this level imo.

I must admit that I don't personally recall hearing any chants specifically relating to the referee's gender.. but have seen a few tweets saying that some fans did shout / chant some unsavoury things. Eg. & if you listen to the latest GasCast pod you can hear Caz's personal testimony of some fans abusing the ref from the North Terrace

I must be the only person that didn't like the decisions that were made:
Was too picky about the position of the ball. One free kick we kicked the ball back to a defender and was then made to play it again from a position about 2 ft away. I just couldn't understand that, there was no advantage. It was just a bit picky and broke up the game for Wycombe even more.
I though the tackle was a red card. It was from behind, reckless. Absolutely no intention of playing the ball and could have caused a nasty injury.
The corner debacle was exactly that. There is no way the ref could have seen from that position if it was inside or outside the quadrant. She then went over to look and wasted even more time.
I think the biggest issue I had with the whole situation on Tuesday was that I was sober.
Don't watch Rovers sober kids, it does strange things to you.

Thought she refereed the game in a fair and balanced way. Which is a lot more than can be said about most of the rest of the referees we've had this season.
Not perfect though by any means. I think it was the ref against Barnsley who was very fair.
We seem to be on a run of reasonably decent referees at the moment. Long may it continue.
It wasn't so long ago I was convinced that the bulk of referees who turned up at the Mem were on the payroll of the opposition. Naming no names...Bobby.

All refs are picky over position of free kicks, as it's something they get marked down on. I thought the tackle was a yellow, and it was right in front of me. Reckless yes, but not excessive force.
