His dead ball delivery could be useful. Isn't that something we've been a bit poor on until now this season? With Lines in the side it was not so sure that's the case now Mansel's back, but you do wonder if LL is seen as back for Mansel, with Lines on his way out.

Yep, as usual I couldn't be bothered to wade through stuff before posting. But great minds and all that...

His dead ball delivery could be useful. Isn't that something we've been a bit poor on until now this season? As important as a goal scorer in my opinion. We have missed someone who is able to put the ball on a six pence from corners and free kicks, hence the pass to nobody routine we saw against Luton. When we do get a decent corner in our centre backs always seem to stick it over the bar.

Think we'll see him as a CM in 3-5-2 and on the wing in 4-4-2.

BBC Shropshire Sport has all but confirmed it on twitter. I also read that it will be a permanent contract till the end of the season. I imagine all will be revealed this afternoon.

Don't believe there will be a fee involved so a lovely deal IMO. He'll work his bollocks off to get a new deal.

Think he will play centrally for us as he has for Shrewsbury over the last 18 months. It makes sense, because we play 3 central midfielders a lot of the time and only have four genuine CMs at the moment, so adding another, much more attacking option to the mix can only be a good thing.
He will have a good footballing brain I imagine and I've always known him to be a good set-piece taker, so fingers crossed he can bring something different to the team and help us in our quest.

Anyone still dissapointed we've almost certainly missed out on Gaffney? Slightly disappointed but we were doing OK pre-Rory. Maybe Jamie Lucas time to shine?

It seem Lawrence now plays a central role and not out wide, if he comes straight into the squad you wonder where that leaves Lines?

Looks like curtains for Lines though.
