Also, we've been sh** for so long now that we've little to lose and nothing to fear. Would you rather see Bristol Rovers in the conference, or sitting at home doing nothing on a Saturday? The whole football world seem to have forgotten that we were a judge's decision away from not existing as Portsmouth FC again.. Look how blase' the Football League were about the Cardiff chairman changing the colours of their kit, Hull chairman trying to change their name, Massimo Cellino constantly being in court for fraud yet being able to keep running Leeds into the ground. I hope and pray that no other Football League fans have to go through anything like what happened to us and these guys are genuine investors who care about you, the fans and your club.. I think that was as much of a risk before the takeover as it is now.

We've already been in the Conference with a Chairman who apparently was a genuine fan! Although I share your concern at the moment as everything is a but wooly, it's OK saying our debts are being written off but is that like Pantsdown has done and cleared them with his own money or is the loan simply being switched to the Jordanian Bank? we need a bit more info but I doubt we'll get it with none of the old BoD's hanging around and "Keith" doing the interviews. I don't understand why the court case is holding up the stadium as if it's going to be built regardless of the outcome then surely the £30m would just be a windfall if we win the case, not that now even seems a possibility.

These are the questions that need answering. If they are clearing the debts, what are they getting out of it? We had this when Gaydamak "invested" money which turned out to be all loans with a massive interest attached. Again I'm not just being on a downer for the sake of it, I genuinely don't want our Support Trust to be in any last minute "save our club" "return the club to the fans" meetings like we have done with Bolton. We have learnt the hard way, even if its great news for your club and long sustainability for it, you still should know more

"Buying the club, you know what is required - and this club needs a new stadium. "(The legal case) has to be sorted and finished before thinking of new stadium. "Once everything is in order and ready, the stadium has to be done for this club." RD are they quotes from our President ?

Not sure why people are surprised by the lack of anything to do with the stadium until the court case has finished. It's worth 30 million instant cash to any new board. I'd wait a few weeks wouldn't you? Can you honestly see NH selling up a month before £30m could potently land in the club's bank account, I think we'll have to accept that case is a lost cause. Let's hope the Judgement is soon so the club can finally move on. I fully accept we will probably lose, but from the new owners perspective it's worth a few eweeks wait before they commit to where the money goes first.

Still can't believe this is real.... To us?..... mental.
I am still expecting Higgsy to run out tomorrow at half time with a couple of actors pretending to be wealthy Jordanians saying "aaahhhhh fooled you all"

I can't see any bitter or unhappy posts on OTIB..... We're just very happy to have a ridiculously rich, Bristolian owner Funny, as a fair few of here have been on here since 1:30. Why aren't you on the Cardiff forum? I don't buy into the 'Cardiff are our real rivals' stuff. It's great being in a two club City, I like the banter, haven't been on here long, don't take it all too seriously but I probably should expect some abuse....

We're just very happy to have a ridiculously rich, Bristolian ownerWho has bought you nothing but success for all the hundreds of millions he's ploughed in. #mindthegap To be fair you are spot on. We've won nothing, we've had a hideous time with managers (I still blame Coppell for walking out after two games) we haven't really progressed, we've followed an amazing season with an absolute joke of a campaign, we can't attract decent players and we'll have a shiny new stadium which will be about a third full next season. Now I'm gonna neck a bottle of Newkie Brown and listen to Jesus & Mary Chain b-sides to cheer myself up!
