Now that he will be shortly signing a three year deal, I wonder if he will move up here from the outer reaches of Eastleigh. Mean much less time away from home, assuming he turns up for the wedding, and we have some beautiful countryside around here. Mind you, they probably have in Leeds as well. In yer dreams Cellino. UTG.

Rumours are that after signing his new bumper contract DC will be house-hunting in Guernsey. #taxefficient

Over the moon that DC is staying with us.
DC is great in motivating players and choosing "freebies" with great potential.
However he is very inexperienced with purchasing players - the acquisition of Blissett was frankly a disaster. £50,000 down the drain? A big test for DC is how he now plays the transfer market.
To be a top manager in the future he has got to demonstrate that he can "work the transfer market".

I wouldn't call Bliss a disaster. 50k was a gamble worth taking and he played his part in getting us out of the conference, scoring a few goals along the way.

Dubey will indeed essentially act as chief scout. In theory, he should have a list of players ready for DC to scrutinise and pick his favourite.

After all as Jim Chappell reported according to Nick Higgs 'it was my team'!

He scored important goals for us and then went and scored important goals for Torquay.
