Latest B Post article suggests he was at the Mem on Monday with Gosling when he signed, I can't imagine he'd turn up at the Mem if he was off elsewhere?

I have no problem in him playing the waiting game, he is contracted up to July and knows everyone wants a goal scorer, makes sense to give himself maximum time to arrange the best deal, either with us or elsewhere.
From our point of view I hope we are keeping tabs on possible replacements in case it is bad news.

He was given until the end of the month by the club as apparently on holiday so a few days yet - hold on guys and let's hope the fans responses isn't like the EU outcome splitting everyone across all the forums

Not split here , I couldn't be happier with the leave vote ! This Keith chimp fellow does seem slightly odd , I'm not going to say his info is wrong as I don't know the guy but i would take what he says with a pinch of salt

He may very well have an offer on the table where there is a clause that he and his agent cannot use the terms of to bargain for a better one elsewhere (disclosure). To my mind the clubs that can offer him a deal we are unable to match are also the clubs that will have serious firepower up front already. Whilst everyone trots out the "competition for places" line time after time MT did not break into league football at 26 to play ten scoreless games in a row and then be consigned to the bench for months on end waiting for when the loan window opens for a six month getaway elsewhere. Those that can flash the cash will not guarantee him first team starts in 70% of games like we can. Does he really want to do a sir Rickie and spend a season or two on the periphery? Or does he want to feed the legend with another year or two of decent returns at a club making a prolific number of chances? It's a tough call if that's what he's got on the table. If he gets something that is an obvious step up AND a an assurance that he will be given time to establish himself as the starting striker then it would be a no brainier I guess....although that would be an offer we might be able to match cash wise and provide the comfort of the "known" dressing room etc rather than the Unknown. I don't envy him weighing all that up and it's no wonder he's taking his time over it. the quote from topper isn't showing for some reason ...it was :- "That sounds like MT's just keeping his options open to the last minute, as surely if he had a decent offer on the table he would have signed it rather than keep his new club and Rovers waiting? Plus surely if he had received an offer his agent would be boardcasting the news in the hope it attracked further offers?"

If MT was off elsewhere next week then surely we'd have heard something by now from his new club?

I reckon Taylor has signed

If I was to offer him advice it would be.......are you happy at the moment ? Are you surrounded by people you enjoy being with at the moment ? Are you able to express your abilities at the moment ? Are you earning much more than the minimum wage ? If you could pick five teams in the world or just the UK you would like to p!ay for who are they ? ( regardless of what money you might get payed )
If one of those five teams wants you to play for them then follow that path ? If you answer yes to the other questions stay where you are until /if those answer change.
