Absolutely, forget all this evolution not revolution nonsense, that's just code for not spending any money. We are in a two club city, and if we aren't in the championship within three years in a new stadium our chance will disappear. We are signing the same sort of players we did under higgs, and have silence on the stadium. It's like groundhog day! Why will we have missed our chance if it doesn't all happen in three years? I was expressing an opinion, you were making an accusation without any basis of fact. You only have to read your posts to see you're a Ted. And IMO you are. See like you, I'm expressing an opinion.

The next generation of bristol football fans need to have a decent choice, the competition is streets ahead of us, that needs to change. If in five years we are still playing in a ground with temporary stands the hardcore will dwindle and we will miss the boat.

And before that it was at an even worse ground for 10 years...

The truth is nobody knows the reason why we're not shelling out big money on big signings do they? Some are going with the Wael hasn't got money thing and some are going with the DC way of getting in the right players to make everything fit right regardless of price. I'm personally of the opinion that DC doesn't wAnt to break up the team spirit by signing big names on big money and he believes that if he keeps doing what he's been doing these last two years then the progression will continue. As far as Sh1!heads coming on here pretending to be Gas there has been plenty on here over the years It's going to happen my advice is don't let them wind you up because if they're an 82 er on here then they're only on here for one thing, a wind up. Burton are playing in the championship v Derby tonight and their record signing is playing. He cost them £300,000 that's less than our record signing. Team spirit and togetherness can go a long way and it can take us to where we realistically want to be pre- new stadium.

I think Roos is going to replace Mildy sooner rather than later. Roberts is to cover right and left back. Are we also going to pinch Walsh from under the noses of Yeovil ? he was the little play-maker on loan from Everton, who had such a good game v Gas back end of the season ?? Liam Walsh is about 10% of the player Ryan Ledson Is who went to Oxford. Seriously gutted we didn't go for him. Been pestering the club to sign Ledson for two years. I'm a bit dissapointed with the level of ambition shown with our signings. Record attendances since returning to Bristol and relatively low wage bill along with wealthy new owners we have done very little in the transfer market. Good job we have DC.

These new owners are not going to buy players but I bet they do want to sell the Mem.

In any case you said three years (fact). So, with facts, why can it happen within three years but have no chance of happening after three years?

well almost anything on a forum is opinion or speculation unless the manager joins the forum,so your going to be sending lots of replies along the lines of "do you know that for a fact" its pretty obvious ive annoyed you by suggesting you were not at chelsea,,maybe get over it? Well if it's not fact, you've written ill-informed rubbish by using the word 'obvious'. Look back over what you've written. If you're going to 'speculate', at least think about it before you write it. "any manager will sign the best players his budget will allow" - too many things wrong with this comment I can't even be bothered to start. Cant even remember your Chelsea comment. The only thing you have written that has ever annoyed me is implying we were racist for disagreeing with Ellis going to Ashton Gate. Now that was a joke. there you go then, you have a grudge over the ellis thing, you must be much younger than me i guess as im from an era where city/rovers stuff was banter and both sets of players were mates and drank together and nobody gave a stuff about a rovers player at a city match and many fans supported one bristol team but watched the other as well, weird but true

I fully believe that we're in good hands with our board, staff and players. I don't see my life as a Gashead as a 5 year race to the finishing line with the sh**. I'm surprised there's anyone who does. Who gives a crap what they're doing they'll always chuck money at it with Landsdown there and they'll usually fail to progress beyond where they are now. They aren't important what's important is Bristol Rovers and we've won back to back promotions, that's progress. We've also got a really professional set up behind the scenes to help us get our stadium and training facilities, that's progress.

I don't think Chippenham is a 82er but he really needs to stop trolling, or seek urgent medical attention for his manic depression, as god knows how he survived watching Rovers over the years if he get depressed about our present state of affairs. As far as spending money Buckle, tried that he when bought in the likes of Virgo & Gill amongst others, McGhee had another go with the likes of Kenneth & Clarkson etc but where did that get us? If we keep progressing like we have been over the last two seasons under DC, then I'll be content.

Also I wasn't suggesting he's a sheed to be honest I don't care I was just saying no that some will come on here and if anyone's thinks maybe they're talking to one then don't let them wind you up. I always enjoy a water take and some banter with my shithead mates but I know them, there's something pretty creepy about someone pretending to be something else on the net. There's only one thing worse than a shithead and that's a shithead undercover as a Gashead.

Should probably ignore the money Wael is paying two very experienced people to run the stadium project as it suits the story he doesn't like spending.

Of course our owners want to sell the Mem. The three things they want is the team to progress the stadium to be sold and a new one built and proper training facilities to be built. Where have you been ?
