Personally, I'd like to see us offer decent money for Lumley in the summer as he is the best we've had between the sticks for a long time and should easily cut it at a higher level if we went up.
If all else fails, would be happy with another season long loan (with no recall option) but would prefer a permanent GK tbh.
All depends on where Joe sees his future though and what other offers he has on the table. DC (quite rightly) won't break the bank for any player.
I just hope whoever we end up with in goal next season is up to the task and not another Roos or Puddy.

Me too - my heart did a backflip, then I realised it was an old thread. What kind of sick person does that to us!?! I thought here we go... Sweeney next then... DC must have some dirt on someone to secure his signature! There's still a chance he could be with us next season and in a Championship team🤞

All depends on if and when new loan agreements are made...would hate to have to wait until the start of the new season before knowing and then finding we've missed out and other options are gone. If we are looking to re-sign this pair on loan, which I'd be very happy with, then it all needs to be agreed sooner rather than later. I'd imagine that Stoke would be either recalling Sweeney or least furthering his experience by loaning him to a Championship club. He's shown he can cut it easily at League 1 level - they will want him to step up. Joe Lumley will attract a lot of attention I'm sure and if Rovers want to sign him it's gonna cost some serious money I believe. (hopefully) doubt they'd look for a Champ club. He's 19 and has only played 25 professional games in his life. There is nothing wrong with a full season at an ambitious well run club who almost got into the Lge 1 play-offs and have new training facilities

Now seemingly first choice at QPR as they march up the table after a dire start. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45910055Well done Joe, you more than proved yourself here. Might even be a Prem starter next season if the Hoops make it up.

Sir Jack Bonham Not sure how DC's pulled it off but so far Bonham looks a better goalie for us than Lumley ever did, was it Gillingham away who pust 4 past him? Meanwhile Lumley is possibly the best goalie in the Championship at the moment.

DC found him and sorted the keeper problem very quickly. It's surprising having such a good shot stopper hasn't instilled more team confidence.

Fulham have agreed contract with Bettinelli until 2021 so perhaps Bonham will realize his future lies elsewhere....................?

Fulham have agreed contract with Bettinelli until 2021 so perhaps Bonham will realize his future lies elsewhere....................? Seeing as Bonham is a Brentford player, why would that make any difference? Unless I'm missing something?
