So DC has released two out of the four skilful players. Easter and Montano leaving Lines and Bodin. Not really surprised as DC prefers to have players who run around a lot ie Sinclair and Moore. When I said DC would sign 10-12 players people laughed- well who's laughing now? Just hope that DC does a lot better than last year with the signings as to be come atop six side we will need QUALITY footballers and not just hard working ones. Time will tell. I think moore is a skillful and technically a good player,he also has a eye for goal. Just think he lacks some drive and belief,i dont think he really enjoys playing that much. I would assume most supporters can see he has ability?

But what about having a decent 4th choice striker instead of EH? I'm not an EH fan but to say he's not good enough to be a 4th choice striker is harsh IMO. Late in the game coming on he does look powerful and a real handful. I think as a 3rd/4th choice striker, you won't get much better in league 1. Exactly, cant say i recall seeing that many great forwards at this level outside the top few sides this season

Did you see his performance against us this season?
I didn't think he was too bad against us, but I think he has potential to be at least a Championship player. Ollie Clarke has only just kicked on this season and he is 24.
"I didn't think he was too bad against us" Really? Thought it was one of the worst displays I've seen this season, and that's saying something!! He was over run every time we went forward, passing was awful, but his manager took the spotlight away from the players like every good manager should.

At least we know DC will be here next season - you can tell he's already looking forward!

Hes not played much only has 2 goals but near goal he usually makes the keeper work with his shooting something montano and sinclair for instance struggle to do. I must admit if he wasnt already under contract he probably would have been going out the door as well but you cant play nearly 400 league games without having something to offer imo.

Our strikers have their downfalls, but parts from the top few, i haven't seen any standout strikers. Of course we still need that '20 goal' striker but gaffers and EH are not bad number 2's/3's

Its funny how we see things differently, I thought he looked the best of a poor side.
He ran the game at Sheff Utd and I bet not many players have done that this season.

It's only the fact that we have Luke James that Moore has escaped more criticism.

For what its worth now, I thought Monty was a better player than Moore.

You clearly dont believe he made the keeper work last season but i do,never mind.

You must like him. In home games I can't remember him having a shot on target - seriously !!. He doesn't provide assists either but as you said he's probably fortunate that he's got 1 year left whilst Monty's contract was up. I also question his drive as there is some ability there.

To be fair to the OP BM did take his chances well V Bolton & Wimbledon but he's had some shocking performances as well, with Walsall & Coventry away springing to mind plus he had a long spell where he didn't even make the squad whereas poor Monty has appeared in the match day squad for virtually every match, for a winger he gives more than 100% each match meanwhile we're lucky if we get 25% out of Moore or Harrison. Monty is one of the few players in recent years I'll look out for at his new club and hope he does well. As far as Boateng is some games he led midfield at Sheff Utd & Millwall plus one game at the Mem where he Was MofM, others he just didn't look interested and for a big strong player he was a poor tackler.

So really all that's changed is SM & LM are becoming coaches. Some of the youngsters are being let go . Easter and Gosling are off as we already knew. Harris has completed his purpose of being cover when injuries were about and can now leave. The loans will return to their clubs as expected. The only player that's new to thought that is leaving is CM.
No shocks here...just evolution of the squad.
Thank you to all the players who will be leaving for your efforts , skills and commitment .
