It has gone on too long I feel. Under the Higgs plan, UWE had a constant income stream, and they still owned the land. Under the AQ plan, I think that this has disappeared for the UWE, hence the deadlock. Hence the feasibility report. There is no argument with that. If it doesn't show sufficient income streams to repay the build costs and an element of additional profit to fund the club, the stadium won't happen. UWE know that, AQ and SH know that and even we as fans know that. Therefore, as talks are still going on (supposedly), UWE will know that element is non negotiable, so they must have accepted that because there is no alternative. Therefore, as no one has said the project is dead, it has obviously got past that stage, and as SH has confirmed we have passed the guarantees stage for the funding, the only thing left is the contract, which will be scrutinised by both legal teams to get a form of words acceptable to both sides. If this is not the case, then someone has been telling porkies, and I don't think this has occured . So I remain positive. Just to reiterate for those who dont don't seem to accept it, SH has confirmed quite openly that the land at UWE will be held on a leasehold basis. If this is the case, and the final terms are acceptable, why have we not gone ahead? Are the funds in place? Surely we have now reached the time when this whole saga needs to be brought to an end.
NB work has finally started on the Mem pitch today Two weeks later and you're now positive??

Gasincider clearly said "So I remain positive". In other words he was positive and still remains positive. That means he has not changed his mind.
Me, I'm 99.99% confident this will be built.

The price for the land could have already been agreed and they are just sorting out contracts for the purchase of the stadium and for the other plots they may require. They would have to sort out the contracts for the naming rights of the stadium and also for the use of any parts of the stadium the UWE would require. I would imagine this would take time but really its all pie in the sky. Just have to wait and see Yesterday people were reporting on Facebook that the deals had been agreed, but the relevant people were working on the contracts etc. 2 different people recon they have heard from different people from within the club. Won't believe anything until anything is official either way, however, a few have been a lot more positive recently.

Do you know, in German she sings about 99 Air Balloons.......99 Luft Ballons, not 99 Rote Ballons......Which is really strange, because in German, Ninety Nine is pronounced as 'nine and ninety', and not 'ninety nine' as in English....so she sings a mixture of English and German as in, "Ninety nine luft ballons", which is odd. Shall I fetch my anorak?

Shall I fetch my anorak? The other week there was a programme on BBC 4 about the hits of 1984, it included an interview with Nena and discussed the whole subject. Included was a discussion on her continental armpits and how she wore a long sleeved top on Top of the Pops to perform (mime) to the English version of the song; the German version was played the following week - making it the first hit ever played on TotP sang in a foreign language. What a fecking spotter

Best grow my Jason Wyngarde sidies and tache again, get some white socks and away we go. For those not in the know, 70's gentlemens entertainment films were full of lookie likeys of this fine actor servicing women. A european trait not followed by the late John Holmes
