Hanlan should've followed up better on that one, and how did he miss that chance?

All our strengths and weaknesses on show today. No doubt we’ve got some good attacking minded players in this squad but defensively dear oh dear an absolutely disorganised disorientated mess. Great that we’re winning 2-1 we could be about 2-5 down I reckon we’ll need 3 to win this perhaps four but that’s possible with the attacking players we have. UTG If our defence was as bad as you say, we would actually be 2-5 down surely?

I agree to dry up the dishes for 2 minutes...... I've got a full drainer here if you think it'll help 😊

Great finish! Probably not deserved but often happens the opposite way so who cares! UTG Let's face it 1-0 flattered them when they scored .

Poor defending but at that point the keeper needs to save. Need to strengthen in goal or going down. What a load of rubbish. We have the best first choice keeper in league one, who just happens to be injured for a few games.

No idea what he’s doing there. How easy was it for madine to get in front of Baldwin too. I completely agree, I thought that's no problem Baldwin has this covered.

I see 'big Sam' is calling for a circuit break in football and i for one think he is right, the virus is spiralling out of control again and we are allowing squads of players and officials to travel the length and breadth of the country! its crazy, especially now another vaccine will soon be available, come on EFL do the only sensible thing for every ones sake !! and have a moths break! If my team had just been thumped 5-0 at home to Leeds I might say the same thing! I do tend to agree with him though, a break now would certainly stabilise things. In my opinion, once we get the daily deaths figure down to a minimal level, things will start to return to normal. That'll start to reduce gradually now, as the vulnerable are getting vaccinated.

Not sure how many of these he can get away with without any substantial plans for a new stadium. Can’t believe afc Wimbledon who only formed recently now have a new stadium. This will seriously hold us back on any plans he has to get to the championship. Really?! Does supporting the Gas ever make you happy?

This must surely be his last club as a manager,so we'll be rid of him soon, the nasty little sh1t.

On their forum they expected to be given the 3 points for tonight unbelievable Jeff! That's probably the number of points they'd have been awarded if the game has gone ahead.

I predict a tough game, but 2-1 to the Gas 🤞 Not 5-5? I wish, but our defending isn't that bad, is it ?

Darrell Clarke managed Salisbury City for 3 years before becoming assistant to John Ward, doesn't that count as experience?

He probably read this place before the game to fire him up. Well whatever he did before wasn’t working so if it took Gaschat to get the best out of him that’s a good thing right? I imagine JVS read pages 3 and 4 of this thread when the team sheet was announced, and thought 'right, I'll show those bastewards' 😉

Completely agree. Can we have attractive open football though with a fortress defence? Tis' open style makes it a good game to watch as a spectacle, far better for me than the 1-0 shut up shop managers, although we want to win and not concede which we did yesterday, but as much thanks to Plymouth as ourselves. So this makes Tuesday night a mouth watering experience to look forward to! Perhaps a repeat of the 5-5? 5-5: that was one of the most thrilling games I have ever seen I agree, although if you watch the YouTube of it, the defending was terrible from both teams.

It makes you wonder why at the age of 25 he hasn't played at a higher level. He certainly has been a class act since he signed. MLS can be a pretty decent level. istm it's usually compared to the Championship. And don't forget Scottish Premier League... Oh wait, fair point 🤔
