I was on the fans coach to Braintree last season and we had a break down to my amazement the players coach was driving past and the beard got out and asked what was going on. I replied we've f-ing broken down going to miss the game now! Grr no you're not he replied, get your arse back on that coach, so we all jumped back on the coach. To all of our amazement the beard starts pushing the coach all the way to their ground. Wow I was just in awe, imagine O'Toole trying that, just wouldn't happen!

Early twenties - is that age or season best goal tally? It's his weekly wage Actually I have heard in the grapevine that it's his shoe size.

Hugo I am surprised you didn't snap up that prime piece of advertising space on the old scoreboard. Guess what's written on the back of Nicks bikini bottoms. 1-0 Blissett

Think I'm going to get the home kit with Blisset's name on and the numbers 1-0 underneath.

Apparently his contract states he is free to walk if the court case appeal in unsuccessful. Well done Mr Watertight. I mean Higgs.

Think there will be/ is a contract offer on the table for Bodin whether he accepts that or not is a different matter. From what I've seen can't say I'd be too bothered either way, but at the same time trust Darrell Clarke to get it right.

Just a little reminder that donations are always welcome for the kids tombola at the Open Day. If you have time to pass them on before Sunday to Pirate leisure or the SC shop that would be great, but we can also accept stuff on the day. Any football related item, would be gratefully recieved, ie unwanted DVDs, books, merchandise etc or any decent other gifts. Please can the items be good quality and suitable for children. Entry is just £2 and every entry wins a prize. (200 prizes means £400 income for the club). Prizes include the chance to win the new home shirt, new away shirt and a variety of Rovers gifts as well as the donated items. Thanks Grr! Thought we'd signed a new player!

'Bradshaw Strikes Again' Maybe he could teach Blisset how to strike, let alone strike again.

Like we need the money. They only p**s it away on shoddy contracts and sh** managers. If Lambert loves us that much he'll put his hand in his own pocket. Yeah, I heard Lambert was donating his wages for the coming to season to Stockport, Rochdale, Bristol Rovers and Southampton. Not to mention the amount of wages he owes to the beetroot factory he used to work he, his love for them burns like fire, never stops talking about it.

Then I guess it depends firstly on what's in the contract with saints would they have put a sell-on clause in Lamberts transfer to Liverpool I would say probs not as they received £4M upfront and due to his age after leaving Liverpool wouldn't think it would really be worthwhile for saints to put in a clause at his age? If this is the case we wouldn't receive anything as saints aren't making any profit. Also with Sinclair as he was only 16 at the time he had his whole career ahead of him to start with whereas Rickie was coming into the twilight of his at 34? Now.

Few whispers coming out of the Mem that were fielding a Nathan Blisset XI which does exactly what it says on the tin. We're fielding 11 Blisset's well put it this way Paulton won't know what's hit them. Up the Bliss!

Mr Higgs has reassured me that the new kit will be revealed before the start of the Northampton match, looking back think he described it as 'watertight' whatever that means, maybe why Balanta left as watertight clearly wouldn't suit his figure.

Wouldn't have thought so as we've already received money for the sell-on fee of his transfer from saints to Liverpool, don't think you get like two sell-on clauses in one as far as I'm a aware

He seems to have played a couple of games from the wing, then he got a hat-trick playing as a St in our 7-0 win. Went to watch yesterday can't say I was overly impressed, but it seems difficult to judge as I don't think anyone had a particularly good game yesterday apart from probably James Clarke and Leadbitter who I thought was our best player.

I know this sounds obvious or stupid, but surely sainsburys bid £40M for the Mem to secure it because of the competition, surely one of those competitors could still be interested? Ok so may not receive the same amount of money but surely some big company could find the majority of this. Or have I missed something?
