GC? Would you have him back? After the way he left? Not for me I'm afraid. Without knowing why? Have you thought you might think differently if you knew why?

I notice that you have posted comments 21 times during February, which apparently the total time you have been posting on this forum (unless you have previously posted under another name?) During that time all of your posts have been defending, supporting or promoting our current team manager. I am interested to know why you are so very adamant that he will be successful, even suggesting that the team will win the next two matches! Could it be that you know him? or know something that nobody else seems to have noticed? or.............what? You have said several times that he is here to stay, and there is no way he will go or be removed from his position and it intrigues me that you should be so sure, especially as what support there was when he was appointed, seems to be disappearing fast. I admire your fortitude but just wonder why? Seriously? You of all people asking someone else to back up comments made on this forum. Hilarious. Yes, turns out his confidence is guesswork not fact - pity.

You, Marshy, find it pleasant and positive, but I, on the other-hand find it worrying that 1 win in 17, or 10 points from 51 gives one of our fellow posters such confidence in the way our team is being managed. BUT perhaps he really does know something we don't? Wait a minute............. I thought you knew everything? 😁 Jealous of a newbie, what’s this place coming too! Well, now we know, from your other reply, you don't know at all - you just feel sorry for BG.l

No real reason just find the negativity soul destroying to all who read it. I have been called :- 1. Newbie 2. Garners Wife 3. A S..T Head Two are wrong -one correct. The last game I guess that relates to the melt down on here at the moment was when we lost 2-0 to Braintree in the Confrence League. DC was abused to his face and supporters tried to get on the coach to confront the players Given time he turned it around and we had two/three good seasons. If you get rid of BG now what then, who takes over, whats happens if the new manager losse another 6-7 on the trot as in Dave Penny's day. BG has inherited players not of his chosing and seemingly incapable of passing five yards so they need to go and new players brought in in the close season Still think we will get six points over the next two games and have faith BG will turn it around, and also he will take us forward but its not a short hit. Patience is needed but football supporters as we know are not. I appreciate your view, but there is a difference in the comparison you make, because DC had done it before (albeit in lower leagues) but BG has never done it before and not even managed before, and we are told he hasn't even played the game!

Football fans are so fickle-the ones that were booing will go back to cheering after six points gained over the next two games. He's here to stay so no amount of whinning on will make any difference -live with it and get ready for next season -top six definite I notice that you have posted comments 21 times during February, which apparently the total time you have been posting on this forum (unless you have previously posted under another name?) Around 6,500 in the ground and yes they were not happy-but there was no "you will get the sack in the morning " apart from maybe thirty or forty on here. He's here to stay and it will come good because? what evidence do you have to be so certain?

Be better if Radio Bristol could get ex employee Hamer on with 20p. Chances are he’d say more! I’d love to hear his side of the story, honestly told. I doubt it will ever happen, though. Every dog gets his day, and Hamer certainly deserves his day because there is no doubt in my mind he was the fall guy for the 'family'.

Usual meltdown but probably armchair supporters-Garner will change it around and will become a good manager. This season is now for rebuilding for next, time for the overated GC and DC players to be moved on including JCH and let BG bring in players he wants to carry on the rebuild. Our midfield is non existence which has to be addressed for the start of next season. As they say pain before the gain The way it is going we will all be armchair supporters next season, if not before.

Can’t be right shrews in a similar colour? I’m pretty colour blind (about 10% of men are) so could only distinguish players by socks at distance with their backs to me, but know of others that aren’t I was with that also said it was hard, esp with sun in your eyes. Wonder if may have accounted for some of the woeful passing, on both sides tbf.It was easy to tell them apart - we were the team that lost

To play one up top you need a good central midfield who can keep possession and ball carry when needed. Let's be fair our central mid cannot even make a simple 5 yard pass to each other, there is zero ball retention. The thing that puzzles me is sixteen odd games in charge and with all his coaching badges and with his mate coppell assessing from the stands they still can't figure out the bleeding obvious. It is obvious agreed. If your going to go direct then you need two up front and if your going to play through with only one up front then you need a midfield with different attributes but most importantly at least one of them HAS to be a playmaker and the defence HAVE to pass the ball to him and not hoof it to the lone forward. Garner has got it so so wrong it’s ridiculous. Could it be why he has not managed a team before?

He may not have been the cheap option if Wael was seduced by his supposed Prem pedigree. To me he certainly carried an unacceptable degree of risk. If he has any decency about him he should recognise that he has failed miserably and should resign immediately. Ollie Clarke is his interview said that this performance should be swept under the carpet. No Ollie, No. I want to hear you come on the radio and rage at the utter disgrace that you and your team continue to produce and pledge to the Supporters that you will do your utmost to turn this around and drive us forward because Ben Garner certainly cannot deliver in any shape or form. You are the Captain, so bloody well act like one. Why is Ollie Clarke the captain? Co co the clown could do a better job. That is a matter for the manager, but we should not forget Ollie has and is a good servant of our Club.

I'm worried - where is gashead1981? Surely he will pop up to defend the Board and Garner? and offer wise words. I'm hoping your little mates will come up with a new rumour to spread around instead. explain

Garner needs more time, the summer at least. Then he can have a chance to shake up the midfield and recruit players actually capable of performing what he actually wants. The team are letting him down big time, I would be throwing chairs around the dressing room right about now if I was him. Time? How much time do you want to gvie the bloke? There are literally no positives right now. Let's be fair, Garner was the cheap option, and there cannot be many cheaper than him?

Gates have fallen and will continue to fall even more which means revenue is going south, so where is the budget for his new Players going to come from. Garner needed to produce an acceptable number of good results to seed his long term plan. He has failed spectacularly and I am concerned for the future of this Club. The way the crowds are going you could win the 50/50 with one ticket and still make a loss. Been a big backer of BG, but today’s performance was reminiscent of the terrible season under Ward where we just didn’t look like scoring. No tempo, poor passing, lightweight players. If we get turned over at Southend it will be difficult for him to continue. Clubs in free fall on and off the pitch. Brilliant , unfortunately too near the truth.
