Roy Redman when he was a director of Rovers talked to the owners about a possible indoor pitch/stadium for Rovers. He had experience of indoor stadiums in the USA where he had business

Blimey, individual errors from Parts, Bola, Sweeney and Smith, Sweeney, and then Leads. Can't really coach those to be fair. "Bols, when some bloke runs past you and gets in the box, don't hack them down missing the ball completely, please." "Smiths, when you're saving a pretty run-of-the-mill long-shot, don't deflect it straight into the path of their on-rushing striker, please." "Leads, if you're gonna back your undoubted speed in order to pick off a lone breakaway as he approaches the box, don't fall over like a f**king idiot, please." And if Bola had actually bothered to sprint back, he would of made it when Leads fell over instead of giving their man a 1on1. Mistakes is one thing, pure laziness is another. Why bust a gut when you know it won't make a difference either way to whether you are selected for the next game? And to some it seems the better you play the more likely you will be dropped!

I don't need to be my research here's what the BP had to say last year: "In estimating Wael Al-Qadi's fortune at £400 million we have taken a conservative view. It may well be higher, but as the wealth cannot be clearly seen we have to work with the information we have. Yes, there is some guesswork involved. But it is educated guesswork based on experience. So he isn't a billionaire? "I think any rich Arab can often get described as a billionaire. If you were to take all of the interests of the extended family you may be able to get over the £1bn mark, but by "and family" we're really talking about Wael, his father and his brothers. Otherwise it gets a bit silly and inconsistent with UK people on the list." Perhaps you need to do your own research before posting in the future? please point me to ANYWHERE that the Al-Quadi's have claimed to be billionaires. - The Post saying so is no more reliable than you saying so - in fact, the Post admit to be guessing. Please do not turn guesses and rumours into fact - because they are not.

No pal you’re wrong not made up tosh but I will admit to sharing all the worrying things I have heard , next you’ll be calling me a sh1thead fella. I will also admit to my latest posts being of a negative vibe but I’m not going to post made up drivel about flowers and harmony unless of course you want me to. Mug I am not your pal, and what you post IS what you have HEARD. Nothing factual. If you wish to be taken seriously instead of someone who makes up drivel then post facts not something you may or may not have heard. Until you can all you are doing is peddling rubbish. Suggestion - come to Box 1 on Wednesday night and ask the main man.

Cleared up the rumours into fact. Then again, many really don’t like truth and will continue to wear their blinkers. I could go into a long and detailed post here but I can see it’s not worth my time or effort. Sorry KP, got to disagree with you there. It ain’t cleared anything up for me, and judging by comments on here not for others either. Need both sides of the story and this is only one side of it. I do agree with you though that WAQ et al need to put their side of the story/argument/issue. But is it? - or is it a made up load of tosh? - I can't find anywhere anything posted by BS5 that is for the Club - everything is negative

Ignoring the will they/wont they for a moment. Unless someone mega rich like Lansdown is prepared to just drop 10s of millions and expecting nothing back, then any stadium or training ground will be built with loans, or outside investments, just like most things ever are. The ALQ's are seemingly, at least collectively, billionaires who have access to funds from their own investment bank they've clearly got access to the funds if they wanted to spend/invest it. I don't personally care how the funds are raised as long as we get some progress soon on one of the developments and it doesn't eventually bankrupt us. suggest you do some research - I don't think they have ever claimed to be billionaires.

Thank you for confirming my point. Virtually is not the same as actually. Please tell me two matches this season where the same players were employed - you won't be able to. I believe if we are to have a successful team we have to impose our selves on other teams - not be set up solely to react to other teams lineups. To your point re Smith - a goalkeeper is comfortable when he knows how each player in front of him will react to certain situations - if he is unsure then he will be at a disadvantage and mistakes will happen. My boy is 9 and a goalie and even he knows that!!
Literally School boy stuff. For a keeper its less about the talent in front of him and more about knowing them and having a settled 4 in front of you. Do I come off my line? Um...oh no it's ok Leads will get back. Oh wait, Leads isn't playing this week. Oh bugger I let one in. Shall I come for that? nah, Broadbent dealt with that all last game. Oh wait, Sweeney is playing today. Oh sh**, did I just let another in? But apparently Topper does not

So its not at all inconceivable that we are again victims of this for a third time, but this time it's the people who own the club who decided that we were a great investment and then decided we weren't. The world has changed since they bought the club. The BREXIT vote for one. It's quite conceivable that that could have changed their position. It more or less coincides with their silence on the matter. Again, though, you keep making stuff up in order to interpret things that have happened, where you could just interpret stuff that has happened without needing to make stuff up. 'We thought we could renegotiate the UWE to get a deal we'd be happy with. Turns out we couldn't.' No murder on the Orient Express. No little grey cells needing to be exercised.

DC's approach has always been to react to other teams away from home, up to this season it's been relatively successful, whether we agree to the approach or not it is beyond our control. Although can you honestly see that Smith fell over/was blocked for the second goal and then hoofed it up field rather than into the stand for the third just because Parts was playing instead of Leads? Even if DC decided to stick with a similar line up probably injuries/suspensions/call ups would mean changes each week anyway. I cannot comment on what happened at Notts as I was not there and have watched no film. Generally, I think trying to out-think opponents is a very difficult project and this (and last) season DC is finding more difficult. I and many others it seems would love to see DC pick what he considers his best team for several matches home and away (of course allowing for injuries and suspensions and international call-ups.) why wouldn't you?

Cant comment too much on this game as it wasn't on iFollow. However, the biggest problem for DC is who will take any of our players? Surely some will have to leave before new ones can come in and it will be very hard to offload any in January. DC talks about big changes, but until January, this cannot be done. Almost all of the main squad are being rotated frequently. We also talk a lot about our poor away record under DC. Didn't we go a whole year without loosing an away game not that long ago?! DC uses the "changes" talk normally as a big stick but unless Wael gives him £££'s in January the only chances will be Bola & Sweeney leaving, DC talks of inconsistency but the biggest inconsistency is his team selection - (except for Lockyer of course). Talk to any other manager Premiership down and they will confirm that every match they have a nucleus of the same team - and in most teams changes are driven by injury. People who work as a team in any profession surely work best when they work alongside the same persons day after day? because they get to understand how that other person thinks and works and can react accordingly. I have no doubt that the players we currently have are good enough given a settled line-up. If you read the forums DC - try it for three matches! But Friday's team was virtually the same as the previous Saturday's, only the more defensive Parts replaced Leads at RB, the back line/CM has hardly changed since TB replaced Sweeney? Plus two of our goals came from Smith howlers I can't see how he's affected by a different RB playing? It seemed we had the usual problem of defending crosses/corners into our box, just where Harrison is effective, in my view not making that change upfront didn't help. Why can't DC get in a defence coach to help him if Yates has no interest in returning over the winter. Thank you for confirming my point. Virtually is not the same as actually. Let's be honest unless the owners release serious funds (which some would question they have anyway) how can DC make major changes in Janurary we have too many players who are below the required standard which will be painfully obvious come April/May! Disagree entirely - play the best players for several matches and see the difference - we have good players but the inconsistency is driven by too many changes too often

The strange thing about this Checkatrade fiasco is that the Football authorities reason for including young Premier players is to bolster the chances of England preparing our youngsters for international competitions by playing against seasoned pros! Of course, DC playing our youngsters cuts across this as does West Ham playing young foreign players. The whole thing is a sorry disaster

please tell us what you do to make things happen? - do you collect for 50/50? help sell programmes? help with the youth set-up? volunteer for anything? or do you just moan? I do none of those things but what I do do is pay through the turnstiles to watch my team as I have done since 1979 . I really can't see the training ground happening and nether can I see us playing in a revamped or new stadium any time in the future. How generous of you Paying at the turnstiles entitles you to watch a match - nothing more - why should it entitle you to complain about training grounds or a re-vamped stadium or anything else? just for the record I have been watching Rovers since 1946 - and that entitles me to nothing more than you and I expect nothing more than I pay for. Question - when you buy something at Boots - which you have probably been doing since 1979 - does it entitle you to complain about anything they do as a Company? Their training regime, their product range, the colour of their tunics or anything else?

Disappointed Stevek192 that you have not taken the opportunity to assess a group of youngsters who could well be the future of our Club. I do not support the current format of this competition but turned up to view the array of very expensive talent on show for West Ham. Some of their youngsters are valued more than our Football Club is worth!(Samuelson, Martinez, Diangana, and Hector-Ingram for instance) Our players should be assessed taking account of the considerable talent they faced which was probably better than any team in our division. And I thought we gave a good account in the first half until the Tom Daley like dive so impressed the referee into giving a penalty. I thought Russe showed promise, Dunnwald - why wasn't he on at the beginning? because before he came on we had no height in the front line and looked good enough to step up to the first team. Broom was lively, as was Sinclair, but some Moore, Leadbitter, Burn particularly showed how poor some of our first team squad really is. Oh, and by the way - everyone seems to forget the prize available at the end of this competition - worth having? Whilst we are obliged to take part I would say it is always worth having a go at winning the damn thing. Especially as we are one of the teams that could win it! And I doubt we are likely to win the FA Cup - anyone betting we will?

In answer to the original question, yes I still have faith in Wael to deliver the long term vision for the club, he made it clear from the outset it was not going to happen overnight, sometimes in life you have to have patience, UTG Nothing will happen please tell us what you do to make things happen? - do you collect for 50/50? help sell programmes? help with the youth set-up? volunteer for anything? or do you just moan?
