Please note that there will be an opportunity to make a donation in cash at tomorrow's game against Cambridge.
If you would like to make a cash donation, please come to the Supporters Club Cabin where we will be taking the "Bucket Collection". All donations will be gratefully accepted.
If you would like your name to be recorded on the list of sponsors, please put your cash into a sealed envelope with your name on the front and we will do the rest.
Many thanks

On behalf of the Supporters Club and, at this moment of enormous sadness, I would like to express my enormous thanks to Queen Elizabeth II, for her service to the country throughout her 70 year reign. She has affected all of our lives and will be missed.

Great idea. Has this been promoted on the websites/forums of his former clubs ? Some fans of his previous clubs may wish to donate. I can confirm that this initiative has been sent to all of Nick Anderton's former clubs, together with the local media, and the EFL. We are more than happy to accept any level of contribution. As much as anything, this is a statement of support for Nick, from the GAS Family, in his fight against his illness. Many, many thanks to those of you that have already contributed. Steve Lamble BRSC

I have already raised this on the Burton thread and don't want to be a bore, but it is irritating that we Helpline members (£10 a month, worth it for an exile like me who just wants to buy home and away tickets for the bigger games as well as the less popular ones), and remaining share scheme members (similar) seem to have been totally overlooked, at leat in the club's statement My initial thread was directed at members of the Supporters Club as we are responsible for ensuring that we provide to the Football Club the data from which the Football Club can identify Supporters Club members within the Ticketmaster database. We are providing the Football Club with the appropriate data for all of our recent new members over the course of this weekend, in time for the launch of Away tickets to the Burton Game next week. We are also in the process of developing systems to transfer such data on a regular basis in the future so that none of our members miss out on the Priority Ticketing. The Supporters Club are not responsible for the Administration of the Helpline. However, speaking with my "Football Club" Directors hat on, I was always under the impression that Helpline Members also enjoyed priority ticketing. Indeed, that benefit of Helpline Membership is described on the Helpline section of the Football Club website. I will raise this with the Club on Monday and I will let you know the outcome.

I would like to point out season ticket holders, sponsors etc have first priority on away tickets, then following that window, the supporters club, before they then go to general sale. Correct, However, the point of my message was to ensure that if a member joins the Supporters Club to take advantage of the Category 2 Priority for AWAY Tickets and HOME All-Ticket Games then they MUST also give us their permission to share their data with the Football Club otherwise they cannot benefit. You will have noted from the Club Website that Members of the Supporters Club have priority rights for the purchase of Away tickets. Indeed, the Supporters Club have had a significant number of new members, possibly so that they can take advantage of this priority.
HOWEVER, Please note that when you join the Supporters Club through the Online Website, you must also grant us your permission to share your data with the Football Club. This can be done by logging into your account and ticking the appropriate boxes on your "Membership Profile". The full details of the process are contained in a Supporters Club news item dated 3rd May 2022.
It is important that you give us this permission - Otherwise, under GDPR regulations, BRSC is simply not authorised to share your membership rights with the Football Club and you will not qualify for the priority ticketing.
Please note that there is a significant amount of work involved in reconciling these amendments to your BRSC Membership Account before we can transfer your eligibility to the Football Club and we have a limited amount of time before the Burton Tickets go on sale next week. I would therefore ask any new members to make these amendments to their account as soon as possible.

Hi All,
As you may have seen from the BRSC website, we have sponsored a team (of 3 players) to play in the BRFPA Golf Day and would like to extend an open invitation to any member of the Supporters Club who would like to join the team and to play under the Banner of the BRSC.
The Golf Day is being held on Thursday 9th June and is being held at the Kendleshire GC. It is a great day out and gives you the opportunity to meet, and play with, former Gas Players.
If anyone is interested in playing, please drop me an e-mail at steve.lamble@bristolroverssc.co.uk

Use the toilets in the Clubhouse? Not sure we needed to know that. 😀 It's part of my pre-match routine, I'm superstitious! Anyway, those plans have gone out of the window now, as it's a bus replacement service from Trowbridge Train Station to Bath Spa - will either drive to Bath and hop on the train there, or drive all the way - bugger! I can give you a lift from Bradford on Avon Station at about 11:45 if that helps. PM me if interested

If we go to Wembley, will SC members get cheaper coach tickets? Whenever the Supporters Club arrange coaches to away fixtures, there is always a discounted price for Supporters Club members. Steve Lamble BRSC

How many match tickets will each member be allocated? Only one per member unfortunately. On a side note, we have been contacted by some members who are worried that the e-mail might be a Scam. I can confirm that the e-mail was issued by the BRSC and that the content is "real". Steve Lamble BRSC

Hi All,
I just thought it worthwhile to come in and make a few comments so that you understand the background to this and so that BRSC members understand the importance of updating their "online membership profiles". However, before I do that, I would like to thank Samantha Parsons, who has done an amazing amount of work on this for the potential benefit of all BRSC members.
The general background to this is that members of the BRSC enjoy priority in the purchase of matchday tickets for "all ticket" games. In the event that we do not gain automatic promotion, we are now guaranteed a play off place and it is highly likely that any play off matches will be all-ticket.
In the old days ticket sales would have been available from the club shop and the priority purchases would simply be ensured if you could present your BRSC Membership Card at the shop. In the modern era of electronic ticket sales, it is impossible to verify your BRSC Membership unless we transfer your membership data to the Football Club. However, Data Protection legislation does not allow us to transfer your data to the Football Club unless you specifically authorise us to do so.
Even if you are a BRSC Member and have not received an e-mail, you can go into your online BRSC membership Account and provide that authorisation and we would urge you to do so before this Friday if you want to ensure your priority for "All Ticket" matches.

I am pleased to report that the addition of the extra coach to Rochdale has been a success and we are nearly full.
There are only two places left, so if you want to make use of this facility please book now.
It is a fantastic effort by all Gasheads travelling this weekend and we hope that you all have a great day.

As the Fans Director and as a member of the Supporters Club Committee, I can confirm that we stand fully behind the statement made by the Football Club. We like to take pride in the fact that we are a fully inclusive, family, club and we are building the future of the Club around exactly these principles. Whilst we recognise that this has come from an extremely small minority, there is no room for this type of behaviour from any of our supporters.
We will be making a formal statement to this effect on the BRSC Website very shortly.

Good Morning,
I am writing in my Supporters Club capacity and can confirm that there will be a presentation of the "Player of the Year" Awards this year. It is planned that the awards will be made prior to kick off of our final league game of the season on 7th May.
There will 3 Open categories on which all Gasheads can vote:
Player of the Year; Young Player of the Year; and Goal of the Season.
Details describing the methods of voting will be published on the BRSC website shortly. It is anticipated that voting will be open for the period between the Salford and Forest Green games and that you will be able to vote online or by completing voting slips available from strategic points around the Mem.

I will think through some of the comments that you have all made. You will also appreciate that I am a member of the BRSC Committee and I would like to take some time to discuss those comments with some of my colleagues when we meet next week. I will get back to you. As someone has previously commented, we do have our established communication lines. You will be interested to learn that since these details were published I have not received a single e-mail. In the meantime, I will be at tomorrows game and will make myself available in the fanzone (by the SC Merchandise outlet) between 1:30 and 2:15. If anyone has any queries or comments I would be happy to chat. You can't miss me - a tall old git with silver hair and I am awaiting a hip operation so I will be sporting a jaunty NHS walking stick!!! Just to remind you that I will be available today between 1:30 and 2:15 To clarify, I will be in the "fanzone" in the Northwest corner of the ground - standing close to the Merchandise outlet

Hi all,
I can confirm Gashead1981's comments that, in real life, I am Steve Lamble and that I am now one of the BRSC "Fans Directors". As someone has noted, I have not posted on here since the appointment. I hope that you will all understand the reasons behind that. However, I do continue to read the forum and obviously if there are important issues that arise I do discuss these with the other members of the BRSC and, where appropriate, with the Board of the Football Club.
Please note that I do not intend to answer open questions to me within this forum as I believe that it would be unfair of anyone to expect that within the context of an anonymous forum. In addition there are issues on which I will not be able to comment.
However, If anyone has a genuine query or comment or offers of help and support, I would welcome you to contact me directly using the e-mail address now published. I will do my best to answer those questions. In addition, if anyone would like to meet for a chat about anything prior to a game - please let me know via e-mail. I will make myself available in the fanzone area prior to the games.
