Putting aside the fiasco with the south stand for a minute and assuming it gets put up with 20 games left.
Let’s now assume that JCH costs us £1.5mn in fees.
And again let’s assume that it puts 3,000 on the gates as we’re immediately onto an auto promotion / possibly even title chase.
Now let’s assume £25 per ticket.
That’s £1.5mn in extra revenue returned before you’re even promoted.
Don’t worry about how much the fees cost because it could pay for itself.

Apparently we put a bid in for JCH that was over £1million but they want £3million so think we should shut this thread down now as it ain't happening. They might change their mind when the transfer window is drawing to a shut.

I've never seen any foxes in the vicinity of the Mem but they are all over Bristol as it's easier for them to forage for food. But as for sympathy for foxes these are animals that don't show much mercy to poultry or other animals and to a farmer could be considered vermin. I used to have quite a benign attitude towards the Greens but this episode of planning disruption led by Edwards has demonstrated that they're a big threat to modernisation with their policy of arrogant minutiae. It comes down to do as we say or else. But maybe it's because Edwards is dreaming of being leader of the Bristol City council next May? So she's attacking BRFC to raise her profile. UTGNot disputing that's her plan but it's a bloody odd way to go about trying to achieve that! water off a good chunk of the city.

Before the pandemic the big screen video used to play Edom by Avicii before the games started. At the time I took a bit of a liking to the song and as we were playing bloody well when we had that big screen video on I downloaded it and started to associate it with the gas.
Earlier when the excitement started building I whacked the song on whilst painting my kitchen diner.
Then later I was taking care of some other jobs and whacked on shuffled songs. The song came on again… it’s a sign! He’s coming home guys 😁
He’s got unfinished business to take care of 😁

Holloway is a true fan but an honest man, I think. When he sees an issue he’ll say so. Unless he wants QPR to beat us Ok we get the gist.

That’s because they won’t be happy until we all live in sustainable mud huts, walk or ride horses and are eating bugs; not them, of course, that’s just for the peasants (ie us). Probably worth reading up on Green Party politics in terms of actual policies. I tried doing this the other day but quickly decided I’d probably be better off trying to read the EU constitution instead as it would be briefer. My understanding is that the Greens are Corbynistas on acid and I wanted to validate this understanding but there wasn’t a high level set of principles and beliefs beyond green credentials.

Read Ollie’s book. He has mentioned how he had coming togethers with the Evening Post as it then was (or perhaps Radio Bristol) and had the journos down to the training ground for comments which he didn’t agree with on the players in match day ratings. No different really - JB has obviously seen something he takes issue with and has responded to it. how dare the reporters offer any sort of opinion. Anyway, the reporting of the team this summer/start of the season has been perfectly fair and positive. If JB is annoyed over the South Stand, than he should be ignoring that anyway. If we don't want negative reporting, than there are plenty of things the club could do to rectify that The Post have stayed far away from the legal issues other than reporting the trial days themselves Ollie’s example was where a reporter had given players who had underperformed high ratings and those who had played well poor ratings. And suggested they should have gone off and played for City instead to have a greater impact. Obviously in JBs case it won’t be the same but it could be something similar whereby he feels a comment is disruptive to the team. It’s not as if managers at different levels don’t do this. Alex Ferguson for instance.

What are you seeking to get out of coming onto this forum and posting on here? I am hoping to explain what is actually happening, so that you have better expectations and also aren't quite so frustrated. I think anger caused by inaccurate information is really toxic. *points at the responses to me trying to provide the best info I have available* And yes, I do have an ulterior motive. I think the planning department in this city is just not doing a good enough job. That's not just affecting Rovers, it's blocking other investment in the city, and the pressure of the backlog means that some applications are not given enough scrutiny. And so I am hoping that the petition to force the council to address the problems happens sooner rather than later. you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/loss-of-confidence-in-bristol-s-planning-systemNot sure that a petition, or trying to drum up support for one, is going to sort this mess out. Allowing high profile applications to run on for months extra will create far more of a focus and heat on the planning department issues. That doesn’t require patronising posts followed by a request for us to fill in said petition to achieve that. For what it’s worth, whilst I really don’t like the Green Party (and not for the eco side because I’m very much on board with the sustainability aspect) I didn’t consider that the Greens had an issue with Rovers stadium projects until the last couple of days. Now I certainly do and it’s one extra reason to dislike them. Your presence is encouraging this mindset, not discouraging it.

Apparently I am bad at guessing. I've heard that it's been scheduled for one of the committee meetings in October. But Rovers do still apparently have 4 forms that need to be submitted, and probably checked by officers for completeness, before then. I believe they may be wild life survey, daylight survey as the new stand is taller than the stand it is replacing, and safety survey. I don't think I can be bothered to actually spend any energy making sure those are 100% accurate, as people are likely to call me names regardless. With all due respect without going back through your posts I don't think you're a Bristol Rovers supporter or even possibly interested in football. What are you seeking to get out of coming onto this forum and posting on here? I don't think you're going to change any opinions so it seems to me you're simply antagonising the situation? Even if you're seeking to defend the Green Party / the councillors involved I'd wager you're merely stoking the fire and causing more resentment than would otherwise be there.
