It seems that straight reds have only been one game bans so far anyway so is it worth risking a further ban if that's the case? It depends what the red card is for. Mildenhall got a straight red the other week for denying an opponent a clear goal scoring opportunity which is a 1 game ban. The same length as a sending off for 2 yellows. Violent conduct or serious foul play carries a 3 match ban which is what Leadbitter is currently serving for his sending off. I assume the red for Monkhouse was for violent conduct so this would also carry a 3 game ban unless we appeal.

Using my amazing prediction threads (<< shameless plug right there), we are averaging 814 away fans per game, not including Eastleigh as no Gas following was offcially given although that is likely to push that figure up listening to reports from the night.

Great finish from Ollie and I thought the Monkhouse red looked a little harsh. Sounds like the ref had a shocker though.

Official overall attendance - 2860. Official away attendance - 895. Thanks everyone for taking part. The closest to the offical overall attendance of 2860 was Staffordshire Gas despite their guess of 2568 still being 292 out! Congratulations! Runner up was cookinongas who was 300 out with a guess of 3160. People were a bit closer to the away attendance and the closest of them all was @hugotheelder who was 10 out with a guess of 905. Well done! Not far behind was nolongernonleaguegas with a guess of 909.

DCs latest comment on Sinclair were from a couple of days ago I think
“We are monitoring Stuart and are hopeful that he may be able to play some part on Saturday, or, if not, then perhaps the Saturday after. It is a medial strain and some bone bruising around the knee. We’ve had the knee scanned and the pleasing thing is that it is not considered serious enough to warrant surgery.”
Can't wait until he is back.

From James Mcnamara (EP Journalist) on Twitter:
"DC has made approach for preferred target, but told he will have to wait for that player to become available"
Full quotes to follow later.

I remember when he played against us for The Dons and I thought he controlled the midfield that day.
He would have added a bit of pace, creativity, physicality and strength for us so it's shame to see him join a rival.
Perhaps that game against us was a one off though.

It may have been lower league opposition but I don't think we can drop our strike force for the next game after having just scored 4 between them and linking up well so Taylor and Harrison for me too.

I must admit I either wanted a glamour tie against one of the big sides or a game we should comfortably win so we can progress to the next round.
To me this is neither and plus it is a long long way to get to so one of the worst draws we could have had for me!
That said, with the form they are in, there is no reason why we can't get a result up there although they are likely to improve as Adams is a good manager.

A few of those were good finishes actually. I know it was against lower opposition who in theory have a worse defence and keeper but at least it shows our players can find the net.
And fair play to Monkhouse, for me has has so far been our worse signing but he took his goals well and comments from those there suggest he had a good game as well.

Hi I have carefully read the comments on this forum. I also have a friend who is a Hereford United supporter who has given me a detailed account of what happened there and I would do everything in my power to ensure it never happens at BRFC. This story is obviously based on gossip or speculation, therefore I am reluctant to comment unless I hear further. What I will say is that I have contacted the Chairman in light of this story and other messages you may have seen to me on twitter to ask if there is any truth in this story or any consortium takeovers. NH has assured me that I would be the first to be informed if that were the case. I have to say no such conversation has taken place, therefore again I have to assume that this story is based on gossip and speculation. best wishes Brian Thanks for clarifying Brian. Hopefully this will put this rumour to bed for now but I am sure it won't be long until another one pops up!

Higgs has said on more than one occasion that first and foremost, he is a Rovers fan. Yes it is also a business but to say he should/would sell the club to anyone is a bit silly. He wouldn't want to see the club fold by letting it fall into the wrong hands anymore than any other Rovers fan espcially after all the time, effort and commitment he and others have put in.

Actually perhaps I am being a little harsh on Suarez. He wasn't that bad and was probably the best player out of Neymar, Messi and himself.

Was quite a comfortable victory for Real in the end. Apart from a great pass to Neymar for the Barca goal, I thought Suarez was fairly anonymous.
Modric and Kroos controlled that game from midfield though.

Champions . Been and done Wembley thanks. Same for me. Don't get me wrong, I would love to go to Wembley again to watch Rovers play, just not in the Conference play-off final. I would much rather win this as champions and then I can hopefully tick another thing off the list and see us presented with a trophy at the Mem.
