Totally agree about the leg space. Even RyanAir give you more leg room than that and they are the biggest rip-off merchants going. I am not tall but my legs wouldn't fit in. I looked around and everyone was sitting sideways. I assume it's the same for the home fans. My biggest gripe of the night was the lack of food. They knew how many tickets they sold to the Gas and would surely have realised that most people would probably have come straight from work or at least not had time to get any tea so why, why, why did they not have ANY hot food left. I managed to get a bag of crisps and a Kitkat - served by someone who looked like he wanted to be elsewhere. Drove home from the ground and thought we'd call in to the biggest service station on the M3. It closed at 11:00!! (we got there at one minute past!!). So much for the big Metropolis - we had to get into the West Country before we could find anything to eat - and these Londoners think we are in the backwaters and walk around saying 'Oooh arrr' all day, straw in our mouth and wearing wellies all day. God I hate London!!

It seems to me that most of our corners go over the top of everyone so knowing this, why doesn't someone go wide for the over-hit ball? Saturday we either hit the first defender or hit it far too hard. This can't be down to DC's tactics so why do they, as professional footballers, not know how hard or soft they are kicking the ball? Let's hope they watch the highlights and realise what they are doing!

Well I guess the higher percentage options when it is that close are... 1) bend a low shot round the wall 2) fire a low shot at the wall and hope they jump 3) Pass your way around the wall making a better angle (or distance) for a more successful shot. given our prowess at any of them I'm guessing our dead ball specialists deem it better to waste the opportunity in the traditional manner as they'll cop less stick for achieving the expected rafter than fluffing the chance in a less predictable manner. Why do we never see one player flick the ball up, so that the player taking the shot can hit it on the volley thereby making the 'dip' possible to clear the wall? I remember the Willy Carr/Ernie Hunt trick, but that was banned....what a free kick that was. Because the FA made it illegal after that goal. I think the rule now is that the ball must move one circumference or something ridiculous like that.

The stand does have too many pillars on the front facing the pitch but not on the side. Why didn't they put it up sideways? At least then it would only have the one corner post to worry about.

Very confusing writing style. Content may be true but not an easy read.

That's true, lpgas, but these are things we can work on. Give DC time and we will overcome these issues.

Midlandgas is as accurate in his assessment of DC as Pogba's agent is about Paul Scholes !! I assume the name is a clue where he is from....maybe it's where he should go back to!! And before anyone has a go, yes, we are all entitled to our own opinion ...even if it is totally wrong!!

Whilst we didn't get the result we deserved last night and yes, there were still too many mistakes made at the back, I thought we held our own against the team that is tipped for promotion. We were the better team by far in the second half but I don't suppose midlandgas bothered to take note of that. Maybe he should change his photo to one showing 'Eeyore' , he enjoys being gloomy all the time!

If Lines tackle was a red card then so was there number 32 (I think that was his number) when he took out Bennett. He only got a yellow for that yet he slid in with both feet and had no control whatsoever when he made contact. Not the most consistent refereeing we've had. Defensive errors but our game is getting better. Cut out the mistakes and we will soon zoom up the table.

I like JC and yes, he did get out paced by their bloke (great rugby tackle though James!!) but not every player in a team has to be Usain Bolt! I've liked JC ever since he joined the club and glad that he's having a great start to the season.

There is obviously a lot gong on behind the scenes with Slocombe going to Lincoln and I suspect we will never know what the real reason is. Slocombe is the better keeper by far (imo) although Smith isn't terrible he does stay on his line too much and his kicking is poor. I really hope we get Lumley back on loan with a view to signing him is the January opening. I trust in DC so I am happy to sit back and see what happens. Someone said Smith wasn't at fault for the goals last night and I agree about the first one but the second one came about because his kick went straight out of play and they scored from the possession they got from the throw in.

I have always enjoyed a pastie at the Mem but they must have changed the supplier because they taste like Ginsters now....maybe I'll go for the sausage roll next time!!

Of course the Teds have the largest indoor screen in the UK. Where else are their fans going to be able to watch a decent game of football?

Bertram, just studied the first goal, frame by frame, and the defender looks like he headed it on to Bennet's head. It definitely changed direction once it got to Bennett so I reckon it was deffo his goal...but who cares, a goal is a goal!! Agree with you about their keeper being at fault for Clarke's goal and Smith being at fault for their goal. I am sure DC will sort out the mistakes and we will progress up the table.

There were a few positives in the game. 1. We stopped playing hoof ball and tried playing football - much better effort than Saturday. 2. Matthews looked superb and I can see a good future for him at the club. 3. Leads looked like his old self, lots of runs, taking on defenders and linked well with Matthews. 4. Smith showed us that Slocombe is our number one keeper!
Still far too many mistakes and we still suffer from Dracula syndrome (we don't like crosses!). It is early days and there are a lot of new faces who still have to gel and understand each but at least this performance is a step in the right direction.

Surely Wael did tell us something new. Up until the interview we were told that the Mem was going to be re-developed now he says there are other options. Maybe UWE is back on but on our terms or maybe it's Filton.....Why don't we concentrate on the football and wait until something happens.......like we have done for years!

I played golf (in the BRFPA Tournament) with Billy Clark. I asked him if he ever read any of the Forums etc and he said no but he did say that one player (I can't remember who but even if I did I probably wouldn't put it on here) once read that he was voted the worst player to ever wear the Blue and White quarters. It completely destroyed him and he just went down and down until he gave up. Constructive criticism is fine but abuse for abuse sake is not. We are supposed to be 'supporters' of our team so maybe we should all take a moment to check our posts before posting them on here.

Thank goodness for that. Keith is the knowledgeable person on the radio. The regular BBC Bristol City fan/commentator is just so negative about Rovers I wouldn't be surprised if they wear a red shirt when they work! Well done Keith, I can now listen to the match knowing that the report will be fair.
