Around 6,500 in the ground and yes they were not happy-but there was no "you will get the sack in the morning " apart from maybe thirty or forty on here. He's here to stay and it will come good So because there weren’t chants of ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ you can deduce that the majority of fans, whilst booing, are happy to keep Garner on? When was the last time we actually chanted ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ at one of our own managers? From the East Terrace/Stand area I distinctly heard one short outbreak of 'You're getting sacked in the morning' from one part of the Thatchers Terrace towards the end of the game.

Great effort. I couldn't help noticing that there was a charity collection @ Ashton Gate at the Derby County game. Attendance over 20,000 and they collected £550.

As we're not likely to be relegated Hargreaves and Mansell until the end of the season then take stock.

I just checked the link I put up out of curiosity.... There were 12 copies available from 8 sellers initially.... Now there's only 2 left.... EBay owe us a drink.... got my copy in the post today, only cost me £3 including postage, and its hardback, going to keep for holiday reading if the missus shuts up long enough for me to get started on it. Saw a copy in the Amnesty bookshop on Gloucester Road a day or so ago. Just inside on the left with the Local Interest books.

How to improve the matchday experience...............?
1. Win matches. 2. Play attractive football. 3. Sit/stand in a comfortable covered stadium. 4. Pay reasonable prices. 5. Er....that's it.
Next question.

Sounds like a forum to ascertain how the club can squeeze more money out of the punters before & after games. Strong rumour that TG would like us to go 'cashless' next season...like the big clubs! Some would say we're cashless at the moment............................... Would it be for everything, or just at the shop and tickets? Surely not pies, programmes? Probably the bar.............

I’m genuinely worried about next season watching this. If nothing changes we will be in massive trouble. We are in massive trouble!

We would all like to know what the reason was, but my understanding is that he was not given the courtesy of a reason. I haven't read the share scheme agreement for over a decade Knowall but I don't believe that a reason to reject a SC member from sitting on the board has to be given but the clause was built in to prevent somebody from starting a tenure not after 14 years. Nevertheless it exists. Has he been thrown off the board or 'just' banned from the boxes. If he is still on the board I assume he can go into the Directors' rooms at away matches............

At League 1 level I don't really get this 'bringing in a new style of play' thing. If you're at a higher level then you can expect talented players to adapt and change things around. At our level you work with what you've got, especially if it's done OK so far.Gradually you assess the team and tweak and develop as you go along.

What evidence is there that BG will turn things around, or fulfil a strategic vision? He's never been a manager. He can't say, 'This is how I work', or 'When I managed **** it took us X years to get things right' We were within a whisker of second place and the club goes and appoints a rookie manager. Second half performances show that he lacks the ability to motivate or tactically change things around. All I can see is a downward spiral.

What does BG say at half-time? If I remember rightly all of our second-half performances under him have been worse than the first. Obviously whatever he says to motivate players or to change tactically doesn't work!
