Just a quick query about Barnsley away tickets. I bought them for me and my son online and had an email saying that the transaction includes print at home tickets, but there is no attachment. Is this normal - do tickets get sent later? It’s the first time in a year and a half that we’ve bought away tickets so I just wanted to check before I contact the dreaded Ticketmaster.

Not a great performance today but there have been some monumental efforts of late in winning and losing causes. Players were very leggy, especially in the first half. Thomas for instance, not for the want or trying, struggled to get out the blocks quickly on a number of occasions. I wouldn’t be too harsh on the boys today. I’d mix it up at Norwich with the primary objective being the next league game.

I think he brings so much more than just goals, he’s a very tricky player to play against for opponents, when he gets the ball you wonder what will happen, he entertains and as those stats prove he makes goals for others. Fwiw I think the goals will return, he’s regularly going close, I’d be more worried if he wasn’t getting in those positions 👍🏾 The only problem is that whilst it's great he is providing assists, when he doesn't score, it puts more pressure on others.... And he needs to stay on his feet more Fine, but it kind of takes that pressure off the others if he keeps putting chances on a plate for them!

A club our current size with no way of sustaining championship football? - it would have been madness to pay £800,000 along with making him our highest ever earner. No resale value for a player approaching 30, and you get someone who there are already some signs that his career is a little on the wain. If we did pull the plug on that deal then that’s another thing that the new owners have got right, along with the Barton sacking.

Hate to hear half-time boos. New manager’s first home game. We’re better than that. Do we literally give him no time whatsoever to implement his methods? It's the players being booed not the manager surely? I totally get that but it can’t in any way be helpful to the manager.

Collins has had a dreadful 2023 but we know what he's capable of. Challenge for MT is to get the best out of him - Collins 2022 version Absolutely. We know he is a quality player. Players have dips in form. Get behind the lad.

If looking for something else to go to this weekend then Living Colour are playing in Bristol 02 tonight. One of the best live bands I've ever seen. We saw them in Holmfirth last week. They were amazing. Definitely agree with your recommendation!!

Unfortunately the last two games was the readon why he never got the job best if luck in your next appointment in the game May be true, and he was agonisingly close to getting 4 points from those two games, rather than one, which whether for good or bad, may have made it hard for the board not to appoint him. Fine margins.

We don’t know the true reason he was sacked but whether it be by luck or good judgement, the owners got the timing just right!

I see a few people consider that Taylor failed at Rotherham. Not sure that’s the case. Paul Warne had three chances to keep Rotherham in the division in a relatively prolonged period at the helm and couldn’t manage it once. Taylor did keep them up last season, which can be considered a bit of a minor miracle given their recent history of being a yo-yo team. Yes, Warne had helped give them a good start to the season but by the time Taylor was appointed they had dropped to 14th and he got the job done. He was sacked relatively early into this season with the team four points from the safety line. His Exeter career was broadly very successful, albeit almost all in league 2. Admittedly he doesn’t have much experience in league 1 but he doesn’t really have too many negatives against him. God knows. We’ve had managers before that looked good on paper and failed and ones who looked like they could be a poor choice that succeeded.
