Graham Potter. Come on now, you can’t seriously believe that there’d be any legs in that happening??? bloke thinks we are going to get Lampard or Potter he’s obviously joking or been on the beer for hours The amount of time Wael spent around Chelsea he’d have been likely to have spoken to FL when he was a player and they may have made an impression on each other. Potter is more left field but if you don’t ask you don’t get….and you end up with Tisdale or Garner instead.

If Wael was still the sole hand at the helm then an ex-Chelsea name like John Terry, Frank Lampard or even Graham Potter might actually have had some legs. Although in a job with a Saudi first division club Robbie Fowler has always wanted to manage in England and might well apply again. However, if that list of managers odds is representative of the quality of candidates we can expect there’s going to be a lot of crap football played at the Mem in the coming months! Graham Potter. Come on now, you can’t seriously believe that there’d be any legs in that happening??? Might be a refreshing change for him to manage players he wants in a squad he’s balanced and prove beyond any doubt he has the nous to take a team from nowhere to somewhere. He’d certainly get backing by both board and fans and that might sway him to do a job he’d actually enjoy for a while. We might just be a stepping stone in his journey back to the top flight but the longer you’re not in a role the easier it is to forget you.

We had one under JB. Loan players cannot be recalled is the general concensus this season? Clubs will no doubt assess the position, if the new manager starts winning games and giving loan players game time, then why would they recall them? If they did in January I assume there's plenty more the new manager can bring in to replace them. Apart from Vale I'm not sure any are really setting L1 alight this season. Still rather have Vale, Cox, Crama, Woods and Bogarde than Abraham, Daniels, Clarke-Salter, Jakubiak and Mitchell-Lawson!

There are some new signings based on those faces. Surely that’s Marcus Rashford at 22 and Wayne Rooney at 42 we also appear to have signed Craig Charles at 23 and Grawp from Harry Potter at 17. Of course the most unrecognisable one is Jordan Rossiter who appears upright rather than on the treatment table!

Strange no-one from the club has not made comment on the rumors about the fruit market ? Club statements and appearances from spokespersons are considered carefully and occasionally occur well after a fact is known. If it’s a rumour they aren’t going to bother.

Watching the rugby World Cup quarter final from Marseille, what an impressive stadium that is. Whether you were of Rovers or City persuasion and regardless of funding etc. imagine being on a train coming into Temple Meads and seeing a stadium of similar size and a stylish individual design such as that looming up on one side of you. You’d know you were immediately coming into Bristol as it would without doubt become an iconic view unique to the city…and something to be proud of.

Just wanted to ask the guys who own our great and historical football club BRFC1883... what are your intentions going forward because we hear very little from you guys and it would be most appreciated if you told us some form of intentions/plans that you have for the club going forward off the pitch in the next 18 months/2years? Wael you clearly read this forum as I'm sure most chairman's do at other clubs so please can you shed any light on the much needed stadium plans (is it the mem we are to stay at?) Or is there a further development on a new stadium site? Also we know very little about our majority owners and forgive me if being intrusive but I'd like to know a little bit more about them if that's OK because after all they are the majority holders of our football club now and I don't feel 100% easy with it ehen we know so veey little about them, certainly after seeing bigger clubs than us being miss managed over the years. READING springs to mind. Anyway UTG! They have already scheduled their next fan update….2028 should be a revealing year!

I suspect the UWE bigwigs might attend the same Bristol corporate events as Rovers board members so a conversation between them could well be struck up over something they had a mutual interest in. UWE: “How’s it going? I hear the fruit market possibility is looking precarious “ BRB: “Not too bad, the FM with multiple interested parties is always going to be a difficult proposition to disentangle” UWE: “What about revisiting the UWE stadium idea, it got very close at one point?” BRB: “Are you still going to be greedy bastards?” UWE: “Well it’s our land so yes” BRB: “Thanks for the chat, see you at the next function “

I'll make one up based on rumours back in the day of UWE plans. University didn't get a big grant for sport as they never got a stadium they could use on non match days. They've dropped the asking price on one bit of land that they wanted silly money for. You’ve now turned an unsubstantiated rumour into a Gaschat fact.

Marquis broke his hand apparently Hope we’ve got enough to have a full bench of subs v Oxford. I really didn’t want the Exeter game being called off but with the way the injuries are stacking up perhaps it will work in our favour. Luckily the players who are likely to be called up for international duty are not amongst the injured!

Quick question being an emergency loan does that affect the registration rules, should a club come in for him in January What games has he played for us this season. Rule is you can only play for 2 teams in a season. Assume Pizza Box does not count. Pizza box does count…we couldn’t sign Vale on loan in January because he had turned out for Chelsea u21s in that competition in addition to his appearances for Hull. However, I think the emergency loan nature of the deal is what enables exemption from the two clubs rule.

Well we all like to make our own personal claims to fame. Whilst yours isn’t very impressive, I congratulate you on being brave and sharing with these culture vultures. Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a culture vulture? It’s a bird that eats out of Petri dishes

I’ll hold my court, still not happy with the signing, we should have got the JCH deal over the line not sign some out of contract TED who lives locally. If he scores ten before Christmas I’ll withdraw my comment and publicly apologise. Spilt Milk for the first part, we have to get over it not keep resenting it. For the second part he’s just as much if not more an ex-Canary, an ex-Ram or an ex-Ranger. On paper he’s an upgrade on Lofty, I’m pretty sure he will prove to be so on the pitch as well. We have to learn to be the wind beneath their wings rather than the millstones on their backs.

Whilst I am not an advocate of “goal music” I wouldn’t be averse to Lance cuing up “The goalscorer for Rovers is…” followed by the sound bite “Big John, Big John,…Big Bad John”. We could all join in on the Big Bad John part! Seriously though, I’m glad to see he’s getting recognition for the unsung parts of his game and now he’s got 2 in 2 league games hopefully this is the start of a hot streak.

Having listened to Hunt’s interview on Having A Gas if any “ex-Teds” want to join us and have the same attitude as him then I’m all for it. Very sensible and refreshing point of view.

Anyone bothered by free agents & whoever they used to be employed by, need to take their head out their arse. To be fair it's only a temporary fix to the fix the JCH balls up Personally I would prefer Lyle Taylor but if its a short term deal to get to the January window I'm not complaining if he signs and who he's played for in the past Yes, especially as he “consciously uncoupled” from them in January
