Mildenhall 7 solid and confident Leadbitter 6.5 took a knock that affected him but kept going J. Clarke 7 another solid game Lockyer 8 in his proper position and so reliable Parkes 8 solid Brown 7 always reliable O. Clarke 8 back to his early season form Mansell 8.5 MoM a superb captains game Sinclair 8 completes the best midfield we,ve had for a long time Taylor 7 took a lot of stick from the Luton defenders but showed lots of quality and composure Gaffney 8 a good striker always expects the keeper to fumble and Gaff was right there to poke in the rebound Subs: Easter not on long enough Harrison not on long enough Crowd 6.5 quiet in first half, much noisier when the goals went in Ref 6 I thought he was ok,hindered by an incompetent linesman Luton 5 very average they were outplayed in all departments

Mildenhall 7.5 looked confident and a very good save in second half.welcome back Mildy! Leadbitter 7.5 bags of energy, frightened Orients left side to death Lockyer 8 Faultless defending, missed a sitter though Parkes 8.5 another strong game Brown 8 another high energy game Bodin 7 showed nice touches Mansell 7.5 the engine room was firing well today Sinclair 8 never stopped running Montano 7 adds balance, some good crosses, needs more game time, there's more to come from him I think. Easter 7 showed quality, Gaffney 9 MoM a proper centre forward, he's getting fitter and stronger,we must keep him. Subs: Taylor 6 a nice position to be able to bring our top scorer off the bench,he did ok J. Clarke 6 solid in the short time he was on O. Clarke 6 shored our midfield up to see the game out Crowd 9 in great voice Ref 6 a bit fussy Leyton Orient 7 a good side that mix football and hoofball quite well, they will be there or thereabout come May.

The rot started when the Speedway carved a few chunks out of the terracing and narrowed the already small pitch and quickly followed by the fire that decimated the South Stand ( one that actually wasn't caused by naughty Sh*theads). The stand was never replaced and we were left with an open shallow terrace,a capacity reduction and an almost non-existent atmosphere. The floodlight bulbs were seldom replaced resulting in night games being played in a gloomy haze. We were a club dying on its feet and it was almost a relief to decamp to Twerton. I am old enough to remember the great days and wonderful team we had in the '50s and yes, I miss Eastville for that but the latter years were truly awful and I really thought the club would go out of business but thankfully we had the great help from Bath City and the tireless work from the Dunford family, something we should never forget.

Nicholls 6 He's been much improved in the last few games J. Clarke 7 a good steady game Lockyer 8 same as usual! Parkes 7.5 a good strong game Brown 7 rarely disappoints Cowan-Hall 4 Lightweight contributed little,I was surprised he wasnt subbed at half time Mansell 8 M.o.M a captains display, unlucky not to be on the scoresheet Sinclair 7.5 the usual hard working game Bodin 6.5 some nice touches but not really his day Taylor 8 could have had another hattrick Gaffney 6 should have scored, worked hard Subs: Leadbitter 7 added some direct pace Gosling 6.5 great cross for Taylors goal Easter 6.5 an inspired sub. Crowd 7 kept the faith Ref 4 poor, booked their keeper for persistent time wasting, but didnt have the balls to give a second yellow when keeper blatantly continued taking the p*ss York 4 an horrible play acting, time wasting side

Yes he looked good last night.
I just remember that Blissett looked good in one game against us and look what happened after he signed. If Gaffney looks as good at the end of his loan period, yes he would be worth giving a contract until the end of the season.
I do not want us to jump in too early as we have been down that route to often in the past.
Perhaps we could consider a swop, Gaffney for Blissett.
Wishful thinking, can't see Cambridge being interested in Bliss. He was there on loan two years ago, scored two goals in seven games. U's fans were divided, some thought he was ok,some less impressed describing him as 'a bit like watching Bambi on ice'!

Nicholls 6.5 No mistakes, did fine. J. Clarke 6 One bad mistake that his recovered well from,an ok game Lockyer 8 a polished display from Mr Consistant Parkes 7.5 when Parkes plays well the team plays well. Leadbitter 7 bags of energy, final ball still needs improving O. Clarke 6 adequate. Mansell 7 a good second half, a bit quiet in the first. Sinclair 7 same as Manse, good quick thinking for second goal Brown 7 a good steady game but like Leadbitter he needs to improve his crossing Taylor 10 M.o.M. A perfect strikers performance Gaffney 8 a very promising game, he brings the best out of Taylor Subs: Bodin 7 did well when he came on. Cowan-Hall 7 looks lively and keen. Easter 6.5 tried hard in the short time he was on. Crowd 7 good support Ref 7 sensible performance, let the game flow Wycombe 6.5 a decent team beaten by a better team
