Think you want to read it again😂. It says frozen at last seasons prices, which they have been. It does not mention freezing them to last seasons early bird prices. It does not mention people paying the same as last season. Hi Daniel. That's how you interpret what rovers have put and that's fine, It said price freeze at renewal price, also mentions what a hard time it is with everything going up but we are freezing the price. I take that to mean the same price, just my interpretation of it. I'm not the only one that feels like that. Again, it never said price freeze at renewal price, that's why I said to read it again😂😂. A big difference between price freeze at renewal price and price freeze for renewals or new buyers.

Prices have been frozen at what was the normal 21/22 renewal price. I can't believe that people expected the price to go down to last year's early bird price - if they did that every season, you'd be paying the same price year upon year if you did an early bird renewal. Hi Tilly. Not if Rovers said the price was going up. Think you want to read it again😂. It says frozen at last seasons prices, which they have been. It does not mention freezing them to last seasons early bird prices. It does not mention people paying the same as last season.

Hi Bridgewater gas. The article says 2022/23 season tickets at 2021/22 renewal price. My renewal price was £285. So that's not true. Again as I've said not a problem if you are raising the price just be honest. It doesn't say at renewal price. It says it will be at last seasons price for renewals or new buyers. It is as last seasons price, but not at last seasons early bird price. So it is, as it says in the article. It does not mention the price anyone paid last season.

I don’t think he has got something amazing up his sleeve but it stands to reason his plan has gotta be an improvement surely. Otherwise, why bother ? Doesn't have to be better for fans as long as the club makes more money. It's not as simple as that. If more fans can attend games, after the changes, then is it not better for more fans? A number of fans have been asking for the changes for years. Although as with every change, it won't suit every fan. If enough fans are unhappy with the planned changes, they might look into it again.

we were unlucky to lose to be fair on another day could of won comfortably but thats football I can't how we could have won easily when we didn't even force the goalie into making any decent saves, I thought without Evans in the side we were poor in attack. That's really our main issue, when one of the starting 11 from the Northampton match is missing, none of the other squad players can really step up to replace them. It wasn't just one change though. Harry Anderson has chipped in with a few goals lately. Him having to move to left back, as we don't have many defenders effected us as well. Especially as Nicholson hadn't trained much lately, so was rushed back. We seem to struggle when Coutts and Whelan are both in the starting line up. One of them is ok, but when both play together, we don't have the same energy. If Grant or Nolan were fit enough to start, they could have given us the energy in the middle. We can't afford any injuries to our defence. We don't have enough cover. Surprised Clarke didn't start at left back. Then we could have kept Anderson further forward. I know he's more of a wing back, but Anderson isn't a left back anyway!

I’m very surprised that the Post have announced that in the Q+A and not made an “Exclusive” ad ridden article for the clicks. What happened to the 6 months of exclusive talks? It's also a surprise if they've now been concluded early and a deal agreed the developers haven't confirmed that's the case? It was 5 months. But they didn't say it would take 5 months, they said the first agreement was an exclusivity agreement, to give them time to decide whether to proceeded. If they have taken less than 5 months, then they can purchase it when they want.

I see from Sam frosts update the developers have Purchased the land then , it’s just a case of whether we want to get on board or not now plus the small issue of planning permission Sounds positive that the council and developers want a stadium to be part of the project. Hopefully the terms suit us as a club.

I was told a week or so ago that he wasnt going, so hopefully that is still the case. Surprised we haven't heard anything officially by now if that's the case, given the U21's first match is tomorrow night? If that is the case, I doubt we would hear anything. Why tell the opposition?? Bit like when player's are injured.

I must admit that at first I thought he wasn’t very good and a bit of a liability. However, as with a number of Joey’s signings (e.g. Coutts, Anderton, Anderson) happy to have been proven wrong! Can remember a few people moaning about him early on, saying he was another Harries. Confidence can do wonders for youngsters though.

She was my wife at the time!! When sober, she admitted she was lying. People do things in the heat of the moment. Not saying that is what happened in this situation,I wasn't there. Just saying people can make up stuff, when drunk to try and hurt someone. Not all pain is inflicted by being physical. We know they were both drunk and arguing. We know she suffered an injury. Just because she said something when drunk, does not mean that's what happened. Then why wait 8 months before deciding to give a statement? Mrs B also suggested on her Instagram post that she hadn't accused anybody of assaulting her but surely that's precisely what she did when she called the police? If no assault actually took place then why on earth has Mrs B let it get this far. Assuming the case still proceeds we'll now go into the summer not knowing if JB will still be our manager next season. Who knows when she first told them? When she finally put it in writing, she said they just ignored it anyway. So she emailed and they ignored that as well. So do you know she didn't tell them by phone the next day as well?? I'm not saying he's innocent, I'm just saying we don't know! That there is more than one possibility.

Because she was drunk and just has a massive argument, so wanted to hurt him at that time. The only four people that know what happened are the four that were there. I was wrongly accused by an ex before, as she wanted the attention at that time. A lot of people lie when sober, let alone when they are drunk! Just hope the truth comes out either way. If he's guilty, he deserves to go down and be sacked. If she was lying at the time, she deserves some punishment for wasting people's time. But this wasn't an ex with a grudge, this was JB's wife! She was my wife at the time!! When sober, she admitted she was lying. People do things in the heat of the moment. Not saying that is what happened in this situation,I wasn't there. This is another odd trial in my eyes. Not saying he didn't do it but some things don't add up already. Yes it feels like MrsB is protecting her hubby with the new statement, but if he kicked her in the head she'd surely have ended up in hospital? He's an ex pro footballer, he knows how to kick. Then - you can imagine the row where amongst all the shouting she says she's called the police and then he says "whatever" and goes to bed. On the flip side why on earth would Mrs B call the police and alleged JB had assaulted her if he hadn't? Plus why wait 8 months before deciding to the tell the "truth"? Because she was drunk and just has a massive argument, so wanted to hurt him at that time. The only four people that know what happened are the four that were there. 'Lump the size of a golf ball' on her head Outlining the case for the prosecution, Helena Duong said Mrs Barton called 999 and said she has been hit in her house by her husband, and asked for police to attend urgently. They arrived at 11.38pm and spoke to her outside. "She gives her first account of what she says has happened," said Ms Duong. "She said she has gotten into a drunken fight and her husband has pushed her down. 'He;s got my head and pushed me down and kicked me in the head'," Ms Duong says Mrs Barton told police at the time. This is what will be viewed in the police bodycam footage. "The video shows injuries, a lump the size of a golf ball on her forehead. She puts her hand up to it and there's blood - she's also got a bloody nose," Ms Duong added. We're still in legal arguments about all this... Because there was no video footage of what happened. Imo if he kicked her in the head, he would have killed her. You can't get a lump from falling and she was drunk. People lie when they are drunk in the heat of the moment. The other two attending will be the best witnesses. Only the four know what happened.

Captain, Leader and model professional. Had a poor start due to a covid ravaged pre season which started with red card at Mansfield. For me he is the glue that keeps our team together and does the dirty work not always appreciated. Without his partnership with Finlay we are not as affective in controlling the midfield which in turn allows our flair players in Evans, E. Anderson and Collins to affect games. He reminds me of Mansell's influence in L2 in many ways looking back to that successful season, his partnership with Lines was instrumental in getting us automatic promotion. I think Coutts and Finlay have that similar partnership. Evidently the younger players are looking up to him and his standards and influence have acquired him the name of 'Uncle' in the dressing room. Posting this before a game is a risk I know but I'm posting this on evidence so far, Coutts for me is our best piano carrier and you need plenty of them in L2. UTG. Think Coutts along with a lot of player's struggled with the hard fitness sessions. Barton said we would see the benefits later in the season and I think we are seeing that, with a lot of player's. Last Tuesday game tonight as well. We have had a lot of games recently and have looked leggy in a couple and struggled when resting a few key player's. So going to one game a week, should help us.

Couple of significant games on Tuesday, Swindon v Sutton and Port Vale v Mansfield. If we win, we are guaranteed to go into the play off places. Close up to 2nd now and even FGRs are dropping points now and they have finished poorly in previous seasons.

The initial agreement Conygar has which was reported early December lasts up to 5 months. Guess we have another 2 months at the earliest when we might hear something of substance. Even then, no guarantee. So you’re saying the build will start in June? It would take ages to get planning permission. They had 5 months to complete the deal for the land.

Finley needs to avoid getting a yellow card between now and second Sunday in April according to the rules, to avoid a 2 match ban. I would say there's no chance of that and that he should take one for the team whilst we've got so many players fit and available. We have lots of midfielders anyway and next week, is our last Tuesday night game. So the player's should be fresher again, within a few weeks.

Yes I watched the game. I can remember two good saves, can remember them hitting the woodwork as well. But that does not count as a shot on target. Unless the stats people are wrong, they had three shots on target. I'm not the one that forget all of our chances. Don't know how you can forget the Nicholson and Collins chances at 0 0. Both should have scored. At that stage, were should have been winning. But we got worse as the game went on, until the final few minutes, when we started to move the ball quicker. They managed the game well though and probably just about deserved to hold on. Point I was making, was that it wasn't a game that we should have lost by 3 or 4, as some were making out. On another day, we could easily have taken at least a point. We have played worse and won, but we have played better and lost. That's football, it's about taking chances. We didn't today. Nobody is forgetting the Collins chance but he never really looked like scoring and just hit a tame shot against the defender. Collins was as poor today as he was good Tuesday. Any game where we lose 1-0 you could always argue we could have snatched a draw but the fact is we were poor today and even Barton accepts that was the case, so it seems only you were happy with the performance. www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/joey-bartons-verdict-bristol-rovers-6759896#ICID=Android_BristolPostApp_AppShareCan you tell me when I said I was happy?? I only ever said we didn't deserve to lose by 3 or 4!!! Then I said we had more chances then you suggested. That's it.
