The first team players that stayed were: Mildy - probably could have got a contract at another league 2 club at that stage, but on good wages and late in his career so very understandable that he stayed, especially as he was under contract for another year with an option of a further year based on appearances. Lockyer - very early in his career, had just signed a new contract weeks before the end of season. Clarke - same as Lockyer Harrison - transfer listed so we wanted rid of him, but on a long contract and good wages for one who was unproven so unlikely anyone would have come in for him. Brown - established as a solid performer at league 2 level who was still young, could definitely have found another club. Signed a new contract with us despite relegation, whereas the others were all under contract. So of those, I think only Brown deserves credit for loyalty. Mildy possibly could have gone but it is likely he would have had to take a wage cut and probably just a simple one year deal elsewhere, so easy to see why he stayed. The others were highly unlikely to leave for different reasons. You forgot McChrystal and Parkes both could have gone, but choose to stay and deserve credit.

I like the idea of filling trolleys with perishables but it would have an enormous impact if 10 of us did it in the same store at the same time. Not only would the lost food cost them but also the man hours to sort and empty the trolleys out again. Better idea would be at least 20 of us fill the trolleys with as much as possible from all corners of the store then all go through the checkouts at roughly the same time. Let the cashier ring everything through the till then just before payment, hand them a leaflet, on it could say something like...' We have changed our minds, and no longer want to go through with this purchase,' (in much the same way as Shamesburys have done to Bristol Rovers. then walk out. The cashiers would have to deduct every item from the tills, then get another member of staff to put the trolley loads back, x20 it would be pure chaos and best of all totally legal. Maybe on the way out we all stop for £1 of fuel whilst chatting to each other for half an hour at the pumps. Excellent ideal !!!!!!! I can also feel a car breakdown coming right in the entrance to their distribution depot in Emmersons Green.

I like it, much prefer something like that than the Ralph Lauren over the top in your face kind of thing. Well done.
