We took 1,602 to Chesterfield last time we played them, some great pre match pubs too, oh and we won 0-2.... Would expect nothing else from such a massive club, shame that 1982 ltd is being swallowed up by #bristolsport

DS Ltd own BRFC1883 who own BRFC there's no other clubs involved with DS ltd as far as Gasheads are concerned, so how's it a franchise rather than simple club ownership? Dwane Sports owns one football club - Bristol Rovers Bristol Sports owns one football club - Bristol City Yet you think we're a franchise football club and you aren't? So, let's assume for one moment that Dwane Sports purchased a badminton team - that would instantly make you a plastic franchise club would it?! No, didn't think so. Lansdown rescued Bristol Rugby Club and gave it a proper base and a proper stadium in which to play, that's all. Bristol City FC has played at Ashton Gate for 112 years - how does that constitute a 'plastic franchise club'??!! Please don't forget Bristol City football club went bust in 1982, so Bristol City 1982 Ltd(correct name) have played at Ashton Gate for 34 years.

In answer to your second question, obviously not everyone but a fair number, particularly at the start of the season. Maybe I shouldn't have said 'we'. In answer to your first question: In the last 10 years, of 40 promoted teams: 3 (8%) got promoted again, 2 (5%) automatically and 1 (3%) through the play-offs. 8 (20%) got to at least the play-offs. 17 (43%) finished in the top half. 23 (58%) finished in the bottom half. 6 (15%) were relegated. Average (mean) finishing position of a promoted side: 13th Those numbers are pretty much what you might get if it were completely random. One for the stats man, Has any team EVER been relegated then had 3 promotions ?

A v. good article which surely should be repeated on the OS but I wonder what NH will think when he read this “You would be amazed at how much value we got”?? Surprised Wael sees this as his new career and he thinks he can make a profit out of investing in the club, as I always thought he saw it more as a side line/hobby to his main investment bank role not his main job. Although how many football club owners make a profit from running a football club, particularly if they've got to invest the sums Wael will need to invest/secure if Rovers are going to build the UWE etc? Premier league clubs can make profits from the huge sums they earn, so that must be were we are heading

Option 4 for me ! Would have been option 1 but as we are live on TV this will be the ideal time to protest. A packed Mem with protest banners, beach balls, what ever it takes, may be invite other clubs supporters groups in with their banners as well turn it in to a massive protest against the league, B teams and sky..

So I assume Bristol City Holdings own Bristol City 1982 ltd or have they ceased to trade, as Bristol City did ! owing thousands, as Lansdown has so much money I wonder if he ever thought about paying the monies owed by bankrupt BCFC to the poor bastards that lost out and it wasn't just a few players.

Where does John Keyes unofficial official merchandise lie with the OP. It's not official stuff but he works with the supporters club om other ways and the sabadell trip? John's gear is the height of fashion, his tote end veteran's tee shirt was a style icon

Looking at those fixtures Accrington have a hell of a chance to finish 2nd with Oxford 3rd. That could leave Rovers, Plymouth, Portsmouth, and Luton in the play offs, Wembley could well be a sell out who ever is there. Lets hope we keep going and Accrington and Oxford slip up

One thing for sure is NH didn't write the contract or read it from top to bottom, someone has been advising him on these issues, someone told him it was water tight, someone said appeal Nick you will win. Its time for these people to be disclosed.

He sounds sincere and honest every time I hear him speak, nothing like Higgs who always looked scared to tell the truth incase someone didn't like it. People seem to forget our new president is only a figure head put in by the family to over see the running of the club, if you listen to Hamer he always talks of the family not just Wael.

What is the role of the Chief operating Officer? Mr Watola new position. Directing traffic? In charge of the pasty huts? Cleaning the toilets? Beggers belief really that he is being offered any new job. Someone had to stay to bring the new boys up to speed with day to day matters, once they are settled in I wouldn't expect him to be about very long.

just had a listen, very impressed, good knowledge of the club and Bristol. Liked the bit about not exploiting the fans with new shirt designs every year and the commercial possibility of UWE.
