Of the ones I've seen, bearing in mind I don't live in Bristol so probably haven't watched us that much.

As has been the story of our season. Create more chances than the opposition but don't take them. Whereas they take advantage of our defensive frailties and punish us by putting theirs away. Totally agree, like MT said, we're the nearly team, frustrating, hopefully we can strengthen at some point, but I fear it will be next season now.

Decided to switch to BBC Radio Norfolk to listen to the match. Just ask Alexa Nice one , Christ that’s so much better 👍👍 I lasted about 3 seconds on the radio Bristol commentary then switched over to the Radio Turkey Sh*ggers and its bootif'l

And it was an 8000 mile round trip for the away side (from Martinique)! Not sure how many away fans made the journey, but for those that did it was probably quicker and easier than getting to Norwich! There was a game in November where a team had a 20,000 mile round trip to Tahiti 🙈

For some reason I think Sheff Utd away, great way day, big away end, in with a sniff if we play like today.

I disagree, the Mem has a larger footprint than quite a few grounds, re-orientation of the pitch would enable a decent capacity. A development like Easter Road would fit comfortably, it is surrounded by housing too, it has a capacity of over 20,000 with the ability to raise that to 27,000 if they filled the corners in. There is only access to the site from filton avenue. Could you imagine the chaos and queues with 27000 trying to leave at full time through those 3 exit ways onto one road. 18000 would be the maximum we could hope for on the site. I'm sure with a complete rebuild including reorientation of the stadium access issues could be sorted out to be honest.

Absolutely agree. No point in tinkering with the East stand with bolt-ons now that we are staying, it is the part of the ground with the biggest potential and we must maximise that. We have not been told we are staying at the Mem permanently. We have been told the Mem is home for some years to come . At any point during the Mem upgrade a new site may be found. What the current board are doing is what previous boards have failed at . Making the Mem better whilst also looking elsewhere. Rovers may only ever reach lower championship level but if in the future they were to push further then the Mem wouldnt be viable. Either a new site or the demolition of some surrounding streets to enable a bigger Mem.

Hasn’t McCann or whatever his name is recently claim they’d turned down multiple bids and the highest of those was 450k ? Yep, apparently turned down £450k from Charlton. Gillingham allegedly interested??!! I saw that, and for 900,000, have they got that sort of money?

Oh ffs - why do they do it? That’s just the cue for more p*sstaking from the Sh*t now . . . People in glass houses and all that, at least he said he thought it was possible rather than saying we'd be playing in Europe in 5 years. The amount Pants Down has watered away at the Bristol Sport Men's football division 1982 to be in exactly the same place as they were when he started is hilarious.

Discussed this elsewhere, I’d rather invest any money on a younger player . It might be just words ( what else could it be?) , but it’s a stated aim to reach at least the championship and it adds a bit of self imposed pressure. He didn’t need to do that . Every single owner we’ve had has said they want to get Rovers to the champ. At least this one wants to get us to the Premier League 😊

Maybe starting to see the quality a lot of us thought we had in the squad (which like it or not we have to thank Barton for) but now we have a manager who can bring the best out of that squad, and dare I say it, bring the whole club together. The more I see of Taylor, the more I like the cut if his jib.

The space under the South Stand is surprisingly big. Barriers stopped me getting a proper look but you could drive a large bus through it! Why would anyone want to drive a bus under the stand? To run over those who don't understand the use of everyday objects to give a sense of scale?

Has collapsed on the pitch at Bournemouth. Game stopped. Hope and pray it’s nothing serious! Same as happened at the play off final maybe?

I hope that abject second half isn’t linked to players sulking about their obvious want to keep Mangan Not sure about that, they played well enough in the first, if they were sulking, they'd sulk from the start, they may of course have been sulking about any changes MT made or what he said at half time

Cricket club looking at moving to another site and selling the ground for redevelopment according to a telegraph article now highlighted by the post. That will get the little green lambs frothing at that thought. Hopefully this isnt Lansdown tempting them to go south of the River. Will they leave Bristol completely ? Why would Gloucestershire CCC move to Somerset?

Whatever else went on, you were a credit to the club and yourself. I am sure most fans will wish you the best of luck in whatever you do next. Hope this last week doesnt take away your positive outlook on life, a welcome change from moaning managers UTG Wow, can't remember seeing a posts with more likes, and definitely spot on. I do believe he will develop into a good coach/manager if that's what he wants, and he was definitely a credit both to himself and the club as you said. I also think his time, with us at least, isn't yet for that rôle, and I'm happy for us to have Matt Taylor.
