Everyone is saying that our League will be harder than this year, I'm not convinced. Yes the teams coming up, on balance, are bigger than those going down and supposedly will have big budgets, but no one really knows how those will compare with ours, and as we know, a supposedly big budget is no guarantee of success. As for the other end, I'm sorry, but you'll never convince me that Rotherham, Huddersfield (great history many years ago but not a big club by any means) and Plymouth (yes I think it will be them) are bigger than Portsmouth, Derby and Bolton.

We often discuss how can we match the facilities, investment etc of teams above us, but should we also worry about the likes of Wrexham (who stand out) or others such as Real Bedford and the like who seem to be on the move upwards? We obviously want to rise up the football pyramid and know it will be a challenge to out perform those above us, but are you concerned with those progressing below us and Who do you think should concern us coming up over the next few years? I can see Wrexham progressing to at least the championship, they were at that level for most of my youth, they have very deep roots (second or third oldest team in the league maybe, 1864) in a predominantly football area ( the Gogs tend to prefer football over rugby). Real Bedford, not so much, second football team in a very predominantly Rugby area and an established football team (albeit always non-league) literally right next door. They might progress a bit but they'll be another Rushden, end up back where they came from.

Was that the 3-2 game? If so I was at that game with my Luton supporting mates, I grew up in Mid-Bedfordshite, needless to say I was on for a kicking at one point No. It was 1-0 Luton - a retaken penalty by David Moss after his first effort was saved 😡 (I think Moss went on to manage Macclesfield - He was Moss Boss David Moss!) Don't think I was at that one, thanks for the info!

Ridiculous to sack a manager after such a short time . Normally I'd agree with you but in this case I just don't see any potential for improvement, plus, as others have mentioned, I don't think he has the personality to inspire.

It seems like Taylor has lost the dressing room, however many of those players will likely be gone in the summer. Can Taylor get in a squad who WILL play for him? Having lost a lot of the fans already I'm no longer so sure that he can. Reluctantly, I think I'm going to vote Sack. I'm in the same camp, I'm not at all confident that he has the skills to build a squad or get them to play for him. I know it's not all about charisma but he doesn't seem to have any. I don't see any progress since he came in I'm afraid.

Actual capacity at the Home of Bristol Football is not as high as some believe. It is likely that 11,500-12,000 is our maximum realistic capacity for competitive fixtures at present. There are 500 plus visiting supporters on the reduced capacity Away section of the East Terrace. Beside them there is a sizeable sterile/neutral zone or possibly two which holds a few hundred. In the South Stand the netting section/sterile zone will reduce capacity by between 250 and 600. For the present trial period and long term for safety reasons it will obviously limit total attendances. With future stadium developments the double sterile section could be readdressed. The current configuration of the stadium has increased potential attendances but we are on a journey. The capacity will be capped by the ground capacity not the actual capacity of the stands and terraces as there is plenty of spare capacity in the terraces. When we had just over 12,000 for West Brom we had roughly 2,000 less seats and the same terracing as now, therefore if the terraces were filled to the same capacity they were that night, the capacity would be around 14,000. Still plenty more than the current ground capacity, so however many are lost to the neutral zones still would come nowhere near the spare capacity currently in the terracing.

150/1 to get relegated with Paddy Power... It's obviously unlikely they will but it's not a 150/1 shot. Those odds could easily look very different in 4 games time. certainly look different now 50s. Yeah I'm gutted, I put me money where me mouth is (ok a tenner) and the best I could get was 67s.

Lansdown will never let this happen. Not much Lansdown can do now with the transfer window closed and having 3 different managers in a season rarely works. City's next 4 games are: Ipswich (A) Swansea (H) West Brom (A) Leicester (H) That's 3 form/promotion chasing sides, and a fellow S Wales relegation rival! Oil! Don't lump them into Wales, we don't want them, they're your st*nking problem not ours 😉

No chance as the Gas are going up and the s... are going down... Interesting question that one, might be worth a poll, we go up, they stay up, we stay in L1, they come down, derbies in both scenarios or we go up , they come down, no derby

Given that we have pretty much guaranteed our League One status, might we be looking forward to a couple of derby games next season? After they beat Southampton 3 games ago, the Teds were 4 points from the playoffs and 15 points above the relegation places, since then they've lost 3 on the bounce, 2 to teams then in the relegation places, while all the teams below them have picked up points. Now 12 points from the playoffs and only 6 above the relegation zone, and on an awful run...

Stilton cheese is still made in the English town which it is named after. Stilton are in sandwich in Kent this weekend a big cup game. Anyone interested in Stilton in sandwich ? Nope, Stilton has never, and cannot, be made in Stilton. Stilton is in Huntingdonshire, now part of Cambridgeshire, Stilton is a protected denomination and can only be called Stilton if it is made in Leicestershire, Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire.

But it does mean your maths is sh**e. I hadn’t looked how many games we had left I just had a rough idea. So my maths is decent and my guesswork is too. No your maths is sh**e, doesn't matter how many games we had left, it could never have been 53 points...

11 points off the playoffs with a game in hand. Just saying. Yeah and the Teds are only 10 points if the relegation zone... plus Saint Evenage are 10 points above us with a game in hand and winning again

My good friend you do realise this shower of poo don't have a pot to water in, every penny they get is to pay long outstanding invoices etc. forget about building a team, more about survival of the club A pot in which to water.

I’m excited about these players, looking forward to making my own decisions on them rather than everyone else. As for the Collins money, that’s already gone, sure we’ll have a little but nothing like a £1m. We’ve just built a new stand (kinda) and still losing £££ each year I agree, we have brought in 4 players, one on a permanent, made a significant amount of cash that can be used in the summer. Everyone always says that the January window is less important because there are never as many decent permanent signings available at a realistic price. Why does every signing have to be 'one for the future'. Can anyone honestly say they expected us to be able to sign Eliot Anderson permanently? And yet he fired us to promotion and we've consolidated since. To be honest, in our current position, does anyone think we have a decent shot at the playoffs? We've got some talented looking loans in and a decent permanent signing, let them take us where they will, and in the meantime start planning for the summer. The bookies have us as 100/1 for relegation and 200/1 for promotion, ever met a destitute bookie? Nope neither have I.

Being interesting to hear what Taylor has to say about that. He always sounds so plausible and yet here we are.
