Wael has absolutely nothing to do with the purchase/building of a new stadium, neither has he any say in any proposed sale of BRFC. As has been previously stated elsewhere, the sale of BRFC is dependent on the purchase of a new site. You may well be right about Wael, but he clearly knows what's happening, and the rest of the family, who perhaps actually control things, must be involved. Their agreement to sell up has to be crucial to the deal. Yes, he knows what is happening. I have never said otherwise.

People forget that the fruit market project is not a BRFC venture, it's being done by companies unknown at this moment in time and if they get further down the road with planning etc then maybe we will get more involved, until then its nothing to do with us.... Well that clearly can't be true. A consortium is not going to spend millions on buying land for a stadium, and then approach Bristol Rovers to see if they might by any chance be up for sale. If this deal exists, Wael and family will have been all over it like a rash. Wael has absolutely nothing to do with the purchase/building of a new stadium, neither has he any say in any proposed sale of BRFC. As has been previously stated elsewhere, the sale of BRFC is dependent on the purchase of a new site.

Did you ever expect to be? Fully expect a "Breaking News" tread some time this week from the normal ITK's No comment from me until the final deal is agreed or not. I just wish others took the same stance.

Becoming more disabled, I need to be able to sit down for a game. I have a season ticket in the West Stand but this is not open. It is impossible for me to sit in the remaining stands due to the steps. So this is a no go game for me. Not the best way to treat long standing supporters. I know they have a small wheelchair and carer area at the back of the centenary terrace. Maybe they'd let you sit there for a one off considering the circumstances? I have to say that Clare and Dave Sams have gone out of their way to facilitate me recently and without their assistance I would not be able to attend home games. There are still good people at the club and without them life would be a lot more difficult.

Remember back in 1983 Rovers offered free coach travel for fans to Walsall. A fleet of coaches went although it wasn't worth it as we were thumped 5-0. I was at that game. Didn`t Alan Buckley get four, or something ridiculous? I`ve got a feeling that they offered us free transport up there, by way of apology for the previous shambles.
Barry Bradshaw paid for ALL the coaches for Gasheaads

Whatever happened to Maddog?
Now if he revealed his true identity that would be something.

Steve Hamer once called me "that twat off Gaschat".
Well, I assume he meant me... Narrows it down a bit. I am sure he meant me since Masters Gate.

He won't be here this time next year. Severncider said that about crazy Steve and he s still here That is NOT what I said. I asked the question if he would still be here by the beginning of the new year (2019) Again, I refer you Topper for the actual message. If anyone is going to quote what I said, please at least get it right.

You are Northampton Dave and I claim my £5! Ex Weston-Super-Mare Gas if there’s another fiver going! I cannot afford £5 here, there and everywhere. I'm a poor old age pensioner who struggles to pay the new prices of refreshments at The Mem

Keep up son. I declared who I am a very long time ago. Have never kept it a secret, even showed a photo of myself at Coney Island. I'm sure Topper can help you. You are Northampton Dave and I claim my £5! I was Northampton Gas in the old days but left there 15 years ago. Strange that when I see Holloway, he still calls me that, which proves he was on the old Gas List forum as the messages were restricted to members of that list. Now based in sunny Weston-Super-Mare.

Same, it's an addiction. I hope Geoff Twentysomething presses for interviews with Wael more often, seem like he is trying to get truthful answers out of Wael.. otherwise I fear we will never hear anything.. I could sense that GT thinks that we are all being dragged along a bit. GT asks the questions that he already knows the answers too. That is not a criticism. 100% correct.

Attack the post, not the poster. You stay classy. Probably upset him by checking what one of his ITK gang members has been up to lately. I do not get upset and nothing that happens at BRFC surprises me. Yes I want the current custodians out. They have mislead us since day one. Their only saving grace was bringing "in-house" the Wonga type loan.

The "other issue" being what exactly? This is exactly the kind of post which grates at everyone (I know something you dont know and I'm not going to tell you)- a snippet of information and by using the word "issue" implies that it could be serious espeicially if certain individuals are covered by a NDA... Assuming they are interested in buying the club I assume an NDA will be in place for that part of the deal, talking of Knowall what's going on with him he last posted on here on the 30 July but is checking the forum on a daily basis? gaschat.co.uk/members?q=knowallYou really are a sad individual checking on when posters view messages. Do you not have a life?

There are far more important things in life than BRFC or those who are in charge of it. I stopped my support of Helpline and 50/50 last season because of the way things were being run at the club and will not invest any more of my hard earned income until the current custodians have left. Hope you are feeling better. Completely agree, there really are far more important things in life. Hopefully getting out of Weston General Monday for Tuesday nights game

The Mems easy mind. Not. It is happening so embrace the possibility. Park and ride also. I live in Hanham. Its a doddle. Park up close then 10 min walk. Better still stay at home and moan. Its not going to happen so you embrace that. Are you Yatton Gas in disguise?
